I love conspiracy theories. My favourites are 9/11 (due mainly to the abundance of material available) and Nazi/Alien bases on the dark side of the moon.
I came across a particularly choice bit of conspiracy yesterday, the Lucifer Project.
The general gist of it seems to involve NASA flying the cassini space craft laden with 72 pounds of ‘super’ plutonium into Saturn. This will trigger a chain reaction and turn it into a new sun, the end result of which is to terraform Titan into a place suitable for people to live on, with the added side effect of killing half the worlds population in some kind of radiation storm (apparently the illuminati and all their friends will be safe in lead bunkers called D.U.M.B.s, I kid you not). There are of course other bits and pieces added on involving eugenics and aliens. The exciting thing is it’s happening on the seventh of July next year. So we won’t have too long to wait.
Michael Heseltine's first heart attack was in Venice at a hotel owned by the Aga Khan (no relation). The hotel was full of Conservative party grandees having an important confab.
Hezza had been due to stand up in the Commons the next day to deny that the Tories had received any funding from Saudi royalty. Such funds would probably have been funnelled to the Tories via a third party, such as the Aga Khan.
If Hezza had lied to the Commons that would have been the end of his political career.
Hmmm… Nazi bases on the moon, mass media control by the illuminati, turning Saturn into a new sun and you give me a 60-year-old man having a heart attack. Not exactly going to set the world on fire is it?
How about something a bit more creative I can get my teeth into?
I’m sure there are loads of real world conspiracies but hey all seem to involve money laundering, insider trading and war. Snooze… I like conspiracies with ancient temples and bug eyes.

Anyone else got any unusual conspiracy theories?
have you read "the illuminatus trilogy" ? I think you would like it.

Are they novels? If so it’s not really what I’m looking for, someone has to think it’s the truth.
yes they are novels, but very cleverly written to include factual events like the kennedy assasination. makes me wonder if they did it on purpose they are also very humourous in parts. I would still recommend them.
another book that you may find interesting is "diana; the evidence" by Jon King. It includes more than just Diana's death. Covers masonic & corporate type global government theories. Very interesting, even if only theories.
My favourite conspiracy theory is that the whole "war on terror" crap is a means for the American Christian neo-conservative movement to bolster their political position and to try and spread their unpleasant brand of politics, morality and religion throughout the world.
There again since this is blatant fact, rather than theory, I'm not sure if it qualifies as a conspiracy theory
