Exposing the Munaafiqeen (hypocrites) of Britain and those who call Muslims to participate in Elections

"O Prophet (and Believers), strive hard against the Kuffaar (non-Muslims) and the Munaafiqeen (Hypocrites [who claim to be Muslim]) and be severely harsh against them. Their abode will be Hellfire – and worse indeed is that destination." (EMQ at-Tahreem, 66: 9)

Being harsh, severe and tough with the Munaafiqeen is one of the attributes of the Messenger Muhammad (saw) and his Companions (ra). Verily, you cannot be a follower of this great Prophet of Allaah (saw) unless you are harsh with the Kuffaar and the Munaafiqeen.

Thus, Allaah (swt) has made it a duty upon us to expose these people and fight against them physically, verbally and financially. Nowadays, this obligation of forbidding the munkar (evil i.e. anything which is alien to Islaam) and exposing the hypocrites is of utmost importance, especially in light of their collaboration with the enemies of Allaah in order to give Islaam and the true sincere Muslims a bad name.

For this reason, we have decided to name and shame the hypocrites of Britain - purely for the sake of Allaah (swt). We are doing this in order for us to make disassociation from them (as Allaah has ordered us to do) and to warn the Muslim Ummah from these sick, twisted and evil apostates (Kuffaar). Before we name and shame these evil people, it is vital for us to first refute the misconceptions and lies which have been spread by them with regards to voting for man-made law and participating in the Elections of the Kuffaar.

The UK General Elections are set to take place in May 2005, and the Munaafiqeen and Kuffaar are pressing hard to infiltrating the Muslim community in order to spread their kufr concept of voting. Nowadays whenever we go to offer Salaat ul-Jumu'ah on a Friday, it feels like we are visiting a poling station rather than the House of Allaah! We go to the so called Masaajid (Mosques) to hear about Allaah and his Deen, but instead, we come out learning about how to become Kaafir by voting for the Kuffaar and the so-called "Muslim" MPs (who are miles away from being Muslim).

Refuting the lies, misconceptions and arguments which have been spread by the Munaafiqeen

1. Kufr Argument - If we do not vote how are we going to implement the Sharee'ah?

Firstly, those people who say this are liars! Their worse nightmare is to see the Mujaahideen in authority and for Allaah's deen to be dominant across the face of this earth! And the best way to test them is by asking them if they would wish to see the black flag of Islaam over 10 Downing Street/the White House and for Mullah 'Omar or Sheikh Usaamah bin Laaden to be Ameer ul-Mu'mineen (the leader of the Muslims) – if they do not want this then they are indeed liars and hypocrites.

Secondly, we thought that you believe that the messenger Muhammad (saw) and his companions are the best example for us to follow? Do you claim something which you do not believe in? It appears as though you do! When did the messenger Muhammad (saw) and his Companions ever vote for the Kuffaar – could you please provide us with evidence from the Qur'aan and Sunnah?

If you claim that there was no Democratic process, such as voting, during the time of the messenger Muhammad (saw) then you still must produce evidence from the Qur'aan and Sunnah to prove that it is allowed. The messenger Muhammad (saw) said:

من عمل عملا ليس عليه أمرنا فهو رد

"Whosoever does an action which is not based upon our teachings is rejected (will not be accepted by Allaah)." (Riyaad us-Saaliheen, Book 297, hadeeth #1647)

Therefore, any action which is not based upon the wahie (revelation) is rejected by Allaah (swt); and any action which Allaah rejects is worthy of severe punishment in the Hereafter. This statement of, "If we do not vote how are we going to implement the Sharee'ah?" is a purely Satanic and rational question which is not based upon the divine texts.

We pray the way the messenger Muhammad (saw) used to pray, we perform Hajj the way he used to perform Hajj, we fast the way he (saw) used to fast, we do Jihaad the way he used to do Jihaad, and we implement the Sharee'ah the way he implemented the Sharee'ah. He (saw) never implemented the Sharee'ah by joining the Police Force or Military of the Quraysh, and neither did he become an MP or vote for any of their tribal rulers.

2. Kufr argument - If we do not vote, racist groups such as the BMP will get into power and attack Muslims

Subhaan-Allaah, we thought that you were Muslims! Is not Allaah (swt) the one who brings benefit and prevents harm? Where has your Tawakkul (trust in Allaah) disappeared to all of a sudden? Did not the messenger Muhammad (saw) say:

"…If you ask, ask Allaah, and if you seek help, seek help from Allaah. And know, that if a nation was to gather together to benefit you with anything, it would benefit you only with something that Allaah had already prescribed for you, and that if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would harm you only with something Allaah had already prescribed for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried (your destiny has been decreed and it cannot be changed." (Sunan at-Tirmidhie #2635)

Your destiny has already been decreed by Allaah (swt) and you were supposed to believe in this from the moment you were a child and your parents taught you the six pillars of Eemaan…remember? Allaah (swt) informs us in his book that the aim of the Kuffaar is to make you Kaafir, and that they will never stop fighting you until you leave the fold of Islaam and become a Murtad (apostate). Allaah (swt) says:

"…And they will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your Deen (make you Kaafir), if they can. And whosoever of you turns back from his Deen and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever." (EMQ al-Baqarah, 2: 217)

Therefore there is no excuse to commit any sin or kufr. We do what Allaah (swt) has ordered us to do, and abstain from what Allaah (swt) has ordered us to abstain from, regardless of the consequences. If you are killed for holding on to your Deen, you will die Shaheed – what more could one ask for!? Furthermore, Allaah (swt) gives us no excuse to leave an obligation such as Jihaad, let alone to commit a sin or kufr:

"Say: If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your kindred, the wealth that you have gained, the commerce in which you fear a decline, and the dwellings in which you delight…are dearer to you than Allaah and His Messenger, and striving hard and fighting in His Cause, then wait until Allaah brings about His Decision (torment). And Allaah guides not the people who are al-Faasiqoun (the voters, rebellious, disobedient to Allaah)." (EMQ at-Tawbah, 9: 24)

In this verse Allaah (swt) counts all major benefits and interests of man, and declares that none of them are an excuse to leave Jihaad. Therefore, if Allaah leaves us with no excuse whatsoever to leave Jihaad, how can we leave Tawheed (by voting for the Kuffaar) which is an even greater obligation than Jihaad!? At the end of the day, you just don't want to admit that you are a coward and that you have no evidence from the Qur'aan and Sunnah to vote.

3. Kufr argument - Voting is beneficial for Muslims and reduces harm

Many Munaafiqeen claim that, "The most important aim of Islaamic law is to deter harm and attain benefit, and voting is a form of deterring harm and attaining benefit…"

Indeed, this is one of the aims of the Sharee'ah – to bring benefit and prevent harm. However, what the hypocrites have and will always fail to understand is that benefit and harm is not defined by us, rather it is Allaah (swt) who decides what is benefit and what is harm. Otherwise, we can say that Ribaa (interest) is very beneficial, and who will dare say no to this? However, we cannot say that interest is allowed (halaal) due to the fact that it brings benefit! Likewise, one can say that fornicating has benefit and pleasure! Does that make it halaal?

Therefore, there is still no excuse to vote, and if you claim that you have scholars such as Sheikh Haitham Haddad, Sheikh Suhaib Hasan or Sheikh Saalih al-Munajjid etc. who approve of this form of Istihlaal (legislating law – which is shirk akbar), then you are foolish to follow such deviant, misguided and corrupted people.

Even if you claim that it is allowed to vote for a certain kufr political party who promises to withdraw British troops from Muslim lands based upon the principle of preventing harm, you are still committing kufr, by firstly using your ration (a form of Taaghout – a false God), and secondly because when you vote, you are choosing a representative. Therefore, whenever he forbids what is allowed (in Islaam), and permits what is forbidden (in Islaam), you have chosen for him to do this and given your full consent to his shirk – thus you will leave the fold of Islaam and become a Kaafir, enemy of Allaah and the Muslims.

The consequences of voting and participating in Elections

1. The one who votes does not know the meaning of Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah

Any hypocrite or person who tries to justify voting is direct proof and evidence that he/she does not know the meaning of the Shahaadah – Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, Muhammad ar-Rasoul-Ullaah. And we all know the consequence of this – you become Mushrik or a hypocrite.

If you do not understand the Shahaadah, then you are a Kaafir – in which case it is better for you to take the Shahaadah and make Ghusl. If you claim that you understand the Shahaadah, then you are a hypocrite as you testify and say something which you do not believe in and practice i.e. that Allaah is the only Legislator and none of worthy of worship and obedience but him!

2. Voting will take one outside the fold of Islaam

3. Voting is one of the greatest sins and will never be forgiven

"Verily, Allaah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allaah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin." (EMQ an-Nisaa, 4: 48)

4. Voting leads to eternal abode in Hellfire

"…Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode." (EMQ al-Maa-idah, 5: 72)

5. Voting abolishes all Hasanaat (good deeds)

"If you join others in worship with Allaah, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers." (EMQ az-Zumar, 39: 65)

The Munaafiqeen of Britain

Based upon these divine facts, it is a duty upon us to expose any person who promotes kufr and shirk in the name of Islaam, and for the sake of Allaah (swt). The following groups and deviant sects have the attributes of the Munaafiqeen and promote integration with the Kuffaar and voting for man-made law. All Muslims must be aware of them, keep away from them, condemn them and warn others about them:

· MCB – The Muslim (Mushrik) Council of Britain

· MAB – The Muslim Association of Britain

· MPACUK – Muslim Public Affairs Committee

· MCR – Muslim Community Radio

· ISB – The Islamic Society of Britain

· YM – Young Muslims

· YMO – Young Muslim Organisation

· IFE – Islamic Forum of Europe

· Muslim World League

· The fake Salafis

· Respect Party (Kaafir hypocrites)

· Impact

· Muslim News

· Muslim Weekly

· The broadcasters and producers of Islam Channel and Shariah TV

· UK Islamic Mission

· Islamic Human Rights Commission

· Al-Muntada

Those who are very close to becoming Munaafiqeen

· Stop Political Terror

· Dawatul Islam UK and EIRE

Munaafiqeen in USA

· Jihad Unspun

· CAIR – Council on American-Islamic Relations

This list of hypocrites may be subject to change, depending on whether these people repent and change or not. For those people who are deviant and think that we are backbiting, we would like to remind them of the hadeeth where the messenger Muhammad (saw) said: "There is no backbiting for the Faasiq (those who promote disobedience and kufr etc.)."

That's the problem - both of you use exactly the same arguments.

arrying on from my last post.....

There is no doubt that ever since the advent of Islaam, this Deen (way of life) has faced severe attacks by the Kaafir Crusaders and the Munaafiqeen (hypocrites). This is something which Allaah (swt) has preordained and will continue until the Day of Judgement.

Allaah (swt) says:

"They (the disbelievers) wish to extinguish Allaah's Light (the Sharee'ah and Deen of Islaam) with their mouths, but Allaah will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the Kaafiroun (disbelievers) hate (it)." (EMQ at-Tawbah, 9: 32)

"O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitaanah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, etc.) those outside your religion (i.e. the pagans, Jews, Christians, non-Muslims and hypocrites etc.) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed we have made plain to you the Aayaat (proofs, evidences, verses) if you understand." (EMQ Aali-'Imraan, 3: 118)

Therefore, Allaah (swt) informs us that the aim of the Kuffaar is to distort Islaam, "They wish to extinguish the light of Allaah by their mouths…", and to corrupt the Muslims and harm us severely by using all forms of violence, whether it is physically, by the tongue (media) or even with the use of their puppets i.e. the hypocrites.

Nowadays, one of the most successful ways in which the enemy has succeeded in their attack against Islaam and Muslims is via the use of the hypocrites. Indeed, had it not been for these hypocrites who allow the Crusaders to use the land, air and sea of the Muslims to direct an all out assault against the innocent people of Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq etc. the disbelievers would still be dreaming of how they could occupy Muslim land.

Their war against Muslims in Muslim land is more physical, still often using the hypocrites to do their dirty work, such as the Saudi, Iraqi and Pakistani apostate police forces. Whereas their war against Muslims in the West is more indirect; praising us in our face whilst stabbing us in our back. For this reason, the Muslims living in the West have become completely blind to the international Crusade against Islaam and Muslims.

By giving us so-called Islaamic channels and radio stations, the Muslims have become completely blind, often saying "how can these people be at war with us when we can practice Islaam here more than in Muslim countries?..." My dear brothers and sisters, these channels, television programmes and radio stations are no more than an implicit (explicit for those who are on the guidance from their Lord) attack on Islaam and Muslims. Programmes such as the Shariah [Kufar] TV (on Channel 4 UK) are completely against the Sharee'ah of Islaam; condemning Jihaad, the Ulamaa of Haq (scholars of truth), the Islaamic way of life, the Qur'aan and Sunnah etc. all in the name of Islaam and Muslims. People who have never studied the Sharee'ah in their life, educated and brought up in secular societies are promoted as "Scholars of Islaam" such as the apostates from MCB, ISB and MAB, who permit all of that which is prohibited and forbidden in Islaam.

And the Islaam Channel is no exception; promoting free-mixing, mortgages, voting for man-made law, joining the police force and military of the Kuffaar etc. all of which are prohibited in Islaam and can even make you an apostate (Kaafir). It is a duty upon all Muslims to condemn these evil and twisted programmes and television channels, as forbidding the munkar (evil) is one of the attributes of a Mu'min (believer).

In regards to the Shariah TV, it is completely prohibited (haraam) for any Muslim to be a part of their audience, whilst witnessing people mock Allaah and his Divine Rules, as Allaah (swt) says:

"And it has already been revealed to you in the Book (al-Qur'aan) that when you hear the Verses of Allaah (and Divine Rules) being denied and mocked at, then sit not with them, until they engage in a talk other than that; (but if you stayed with them) certainly in that case you would become one of them. Surely, Allaah will collect the hypocrites and disbelievers all together in Hell." (EMQ an-Nisaa, 4: 140)

As for the Islam Channel and any other broadcast of the Secular "Muslims", we advise you all not to increase the numbers of Ahl ul-Bid'ah (the people of innovation) by sitting with them or helping them in anyway – as Allaah (swt) has prohibited this. These people are the hypocrites of today and one of the enemies from within. Condemn them by any means which you are capable of, whether by issuing leaflets or by phoning them directly. Remember, that forbidding the evil is not something which is recommended or permissible, rather it is an obligation.

Alhamdulillah finally the truth is spoken loud and clear. It has become a matter of great concern to those of us who do our best to follow the true path of Islam that the media always call on the Munaafiqeen (hypocrites) to speak for the Muslim community. Channel 4, among other TV channels, has a particular penchant for a journalist who has demonstrated a glaring lack of knowledge about Islam and yet is trotted out ad nauseum as an Islamic spokesperson! And Sharia TV is now following in that tradition. More Islamic apologists! Encouraging Muslims to join the police force....have they not noticed the cross on the badge of the police...do they not have a problem with wearing a symbol which respresents this most hated shirk, do they not know that Allah (swt) said

They say: "(God) Most Gracious has begotten a son!"
Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!
At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin,
That they should invoke a son for (God) Most Gracious.
For it is not consonant with the majesty of (God) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.
(Surah Maryam v88-92)

Perhaps its time to remind Muslims in Britain of the Islamic ruling on Muslims Living in Non-Muslim countries:

Muslims are of three kinds, as far as the matter of immigration from a non-Muslim country to a Muslim country, is concerned. A) Those who cannot abide by their religion's obligations and commands or fear temptation i.e., face hardship in being steadfast due to the bad environment and the prevalence of Kufr in the place where they dwell, such Muslims are obliged to migrate. B) Those who can follow their religion and do not face any temptation or seduction, immigration for them is merely desirable. C) Those who are not asked by Shariah to migrate as they (physically, financially or due to other forcing reasons) are not able to migrate at all. Ibn Qudamah wrote about migration: It means leaving a non-Muslim country to settle in a Muslim country. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allâh spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?"…}[4:97]. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: I am exempt from any Muslim who lives among polytheists". The companions asked, why O prophet of Allah? He replied, the fire of each group should not be seen by other one. [ Abu Dawood and al-Baihaqi ]. The Hadith means that they are not allowed to live at the distance from where they could see each other's fire. The ruling of this immigration according to the great majority of Muslim scholars is continuous till the Day of Judgment. Ibn Qudamah also said: After the given details people are of three kinds as far as the matter of immigration from a non-Muslim country, is concerned. A) Those who are obliged and it is obligatory on them to migrate. Muslims who cannot follow their religion freely and who are able to migrate to a Muslim country must migrate (no other choice is given to them). Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {Verily! As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" They reply: "We were weak and oppressed on earth." They (angels) say: "Was not the earth of Allâh spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" Such men will find their abode in Hell - What an evil destination!}[4:97]. This is a stern warning and the scholars deduce from such warning that it is a clear indication that the act is an obligatory one. Moreover, carrying out the religious obligations is compulsory on every individual who has the ability to do so. Therefore, the one who cannot follow his religion in a place has to migrate from that place to another, since religion is more important and precious than any other matter. B) The ruling of migration does not cover the Muslims who cannot migrate due to weakness, or compulsion or who are too weak to migrate such as women, children and the like, such are not addressed by this rule about migration. Allah says: {Except the weak ones among men, women and children who cannot devise a plan, nor are they able to direct their way. For these there is hope that Allâh will forgive them, and Allâh is Ever Oft Pardoning, Oft-Forgiving.}[4:98-99]. For the lack of ability on migration it becomes unlikable for them. C) Migration is likeable for some Muslim but it is not compulsory. For instance, Muslims who live in a non-Muslim country but they are allowed to act freely according to their religion. They are merely recommended to migrate to Muslim countries to help Muslim Ummah and increase the members of the Muslim community.

Now every Muslim should look to his or her heart and fear Allah (swt) in this matter, and ask themselves do any othe following apply:

1 -His living among them could badly effect his own Aqida (creed) as it might lessen the feeling of hatred a Muslim should have towards the disbelief, aberration and infidelity that are common in such places because of his getting too much in touch with these things by hearing seeing…etc. Such bad things might become so common to him that he get used to them, inclines towards them and finally be deceived by disbeliever's well-being, their flourishing life, their apparent justice, and their help to the needy. He might come to the conclusion that they are on the right way while they are on no good way at all.
2 -There is a great danger facing him in his application of what Allah has prescribed to him as they have many kinds of entertainments and seductions that could amuse him and hence make him neglect some of the religious acts or even commit sins.
3- His living among them could have bad impact on his own honor. There are many examples of that. A daughter or even a wife who brings her boyfriend home and the father/husband cannot say anything. He could not even show any disapproval..
4 -The Muslim in such countries might not be able to assure Halal (lawful) gain for himself. He might even be obliged to deal in Riba to assure his livelihood and a place to live.
5 -These disbelieving people are exposed to the danger and punishment of Allah that can be inflicted on them anytime. So, whoever lives among them is exposed to facing the same punishment.
6 -Your children are exposed to all these dangers or even greater ones. The Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "I am exempt from any Muslim who lives among polytheists". [Abu Dawood & al-Baihaqi].
Imam Ibn Taymiyah said: 'the state of the countries is similar to the state of human beings. Generally it happens that at times a person would be Muslim and at other times he becomes Kafir. Sometimes he may be a true believer and some other times he would be hypocrite. Similarly, sometimes he would be pious and sometimes he committed sins and become dissolute. The state of countries is as same as the state of human beings depending on their activities. Therefore, the migration of a person from the place of Kufr and evil to the place of Iman (belief) and obedience of Allah is as making repentance towards Allah, i.e. he migrates from the life of disobedience of Allah to the life of obedience. And this act of migrating from bad to good, from Kufr to Islam, and bad place to good place will continue till the Day Judgement'.

It is a sad fact that Muslims put their material life before their considerations for the Hereafter and cling to this land of Kufr. So it is no suprise that the kind of problems that arise within our communities have to be aired on Sharia TV and the like. I was born here and grew up as a Christian and reverted to Islam at a late age, but am moving to an Islamic country soon because I do not believe any true believing Muslim who wants to obey the commands of Allah (swt) and follow the teachings of our Prophet(saw) can do so in this country. With the exception of the few who can trully justify staying here in accordance with what has been stated above, the rest of us need to ask ourselves ARE WE MAKING ISLAM FIT OUR LIVES OR OUR LIVES TO FIT ISLAM!

im not providing any alternative just the advice to seek out other opinion and understanding..to ensure that what is being said is accurate representation and understanding .

for those with an understanding of islam -- will recognise what is written above is an education in how the extreme misuse the koran.

truth doesnt come just because some text is posted on a board without the context or greater understanding of the whole.

Thing is, that's what he says about *your* interpretation of Islam. That's where the problem is - you can't both be right, and each of you claims the other is wrong.

But don't worry, the christians have exactly the same problem.

Frankly, your infighting does nothing to present Islam in anything other than a bad light.

im not claiming an interpretation but stating that one should look for education of oneself. it is wholly incompatible with islam to allow oneself be mislead. it is a sin and the individual being misled is accountable for not seeking to verify the koran/islam.

all concerned can make claims as they want, it is the duty of the individual to seek an understanding and to become educated in islam.

there is one truth, and in islam god gives you the choice to follow the truth or not. it is again individual accountability and responsibility.

now from my understanding and reading i would say that the posting of the individual is not in the nature of islam. i make that personal observation. i am asking those that have an interest to be aware of what is being stated. now those who read this may or may not want to accept what i say .. that is their choice and responsibility. if they are muslims they know that thre is no compulsion in islam, i cannot make any person believe my version of my understanding.

however there is a mainstream undestanding of islam, there are many texts, analysis over many centuries, one has to be aware of these to be able to judge where the understanding of these issues lies.

everyone anyone can subvert a belief or value system.

quite the contrary it shows that there is life with in it, that there is discourse and debate. that islams values, view points are being challenged.

the truth is if there was no debate or discussion then that would be again against islamic values, it demands that it should be challenged .. it would also suggest if there was no debate an authoritarian - unchanging - non progressive culture.

the discourse with respect to islam is big and is constant .. the fact is that those outside of the debate do not recognise that this vibrancy exists.

if they were true to islam , they would not judging other muslims in the manner they do, because that is not in their gift.

it is allahs judgement alone that matters.

you as always are free to choose, i much prefer a wider reading and education than to rely on a specific reading of islam that suits a personal opinion , prejudice or bigotry.

you and bin laden are in no position to make claims of who is 'man' and who is not. in fact by doing so it is against islam that you act.

why, do u deny that there is two camps, camp of iman or camp of kufr??? Imam shafi said, if you doubt that a kafir is a kafir then you become a kafir. So becareful.

its very simple, either your a muslim or a non muslim or are you like MCB who say potential muslim.

peace all,

Allow me to quote my view on the 1st series, which was posted on this forum and can stil be read if one searches for the thread. I am currently watching the 2nd series.

Rating Shariah TV

To those who watched the series, I'd like to ask them to score it out of 10, giving a rating showing how much they liked it. 10 being the best mark, zero being the worst.

+ a reason for the rating (just for interest)

---------

3/10

In my personal opinion, overall, it was disappointing. In fact, on occasion, I thought it was a disgrace. The primary reason for this was that sometimes the so-called experts completely distorted what the Quran teaches. A few examples I will BRIEFLY highlight:

1st show (I think): the regular Imam from Leicster mentioned "hijab" is in Quran and strongly implied from this that this proves the "hijab"=headscarf law is undisputeable. Any student of the Quran knows, that whilst the word is mentioned, it is NEVER referenced as a headscarf, not even as an item of clothing! That was pure distortion. He carefully never quoted any specific verse to prove his point. I knew why. This may have fooled some, but not me.

Stoning to death for adultery is NOWHERE to be found in Quran, yet they discussed it as if it was clear-cut. They could have at least said, this is a law taken from traditional accounts, not from Quran.

The homosexual debate: they should have clarified Quran prohibits the practice of homosexuality, but a person can still theoretically be homosexual. They could have also mentioned that Quran contains no punishment for just being homosexual. If they participate in evident/public lewdness (homosexual acts) however, then thats a different story.

That Leicster Imam said "Christians will go to Hell" however was right in saying that God knows who is and who isn't, thus its impossible for a human to state such a thing conclusively. But he never mentioned that Quran says some Jews/Christians will go to heaven, because it recognises that within those faiths, there are monotheists. See 2:62 for example. Also, he messed up the meaning of the word "muslim" although I would have let him off with that one, if he didn't say the definition he gave was in Quran. Quoted no verse, as usual.

On the last show, the Leicster Imam stated apostates must be killed according to Quran! This one particularly infuriated me. No-one even challenged it. Once again, he never quoted any verse to prove his point. This was a clever tactic used by several of the Imams at one point or another. To prove he is wrong, I will quote one verse:

Those who believe, then reject, then believe, then reject, then they increase in rejection; God was neither to forgive them nor to guide them to the path. [4:137]

According to the Imam, the person would be killed after the first rejection. Forget about doing it twice! In any case, Quran contains no such punishment for apostasy.

Now that I think about it, the Leicster Imam was the poorest, but he was the most regular of the guests. I dont know why.

Dont get me wrong, there was some good in the series. Aimed for a novice audience, which is fair enough. For someone relatively knowledgable of the Quran it was frustrating watching them quote laws/interpretations with no basis.

If you think I'm the one with poor Quranic knowledge, not them, then either just watch the shows again, and see when they quote specific verses. It is very rare. OR take note of the points I made above and ask your local Imam, and do me a favour, ask for a specific verse or verses!

Sorry for the long post, but thanks for reading.

Lastly, it would be a severe mistake for anyone to watch this show and think this is how "Muslims" (please note I use the capital M to indicate it is title/name only and thus does not prove actually being a muslim) think.
