Possibly one of the creepiest programmes I've seen for a long time. Like watching 'The Emperor's New Clothes',complete with traditional ending - one woman's beloved grandson (apparently, the inspiration for her behaviour) telling her via webcam "It's a doll, numbnuts".
Why have these poor women been unable to get/denied professional help?
Yip watched the first few mins in utter disbelief at what I was watching then simply had to turn off when a couple said they hadn’t finished having fun in their lives yet so didn’t want the real deal…
I honestly still can’t decide whether this couple simply wanted 10mins on the tele or are just the most selfish people I have ever whitnessed…it was gut wrenching carcrash tele...
I loved this programme! I thought is was creepy but also interesting and it was only creepy because of the fact they were dolls if it was another topic people would say it was just boring. I did get concerned about one part with the woman losing Harry her grandson as I thought he was dead but was glad to find out he wasn't. I also liked the bit with Harry saying it was a doll and the woman saying that it was a baby. Persoanally I see the whole doll concept as a work of art because they were so life like and what the owners do with these dolls are up to them really
