I think Muslims who come here are fortunate because they are treated with equality. I admit distrust for some of them because of what happens abroad to christians.

If the ratio of (practicing) Christian to muslim in this country was the same as muslim to Christian in muslim countries, do you not think the same would happen to them.

muslims and christians are treated badly in the jewish state, more so if you live in the occupied lands. and this does happen regularly.
at present we are killing thousands of muslims in a war that we all acknowledge to have been all lies and deceit. why would you want to kill them here when you can kill them over there?
immigrants are never treated equally and this is a case in the uk/usa. one might not get reporting of the vicious abuse and physical attacks but there are organisations that endorse and condone such violence against muslims.
the media pretty much here demonises muslims to such an extent that people will attack innocent women who choose to wear a scarf or a veil.
so to claim that there is no persecution here is not true, its just that such persecution is either not reported or is justified by our bigots. these issues pass under the radar whereas those who only seek to demonise muslims will of course present it on the powerful media forums that they have .. from television to the newsmedia print and radio.
you should pay attention to the under reported persecution of muslims here and the usa as well as the rest of europe.
maybe it is more subtle but i still distrust Islam. I think we are welcoming to immigrants providing they pay their way and do not try to change our way of life. I don't think people are bigots here if they hold this view

if youre really worried about changing your way of life i suggest you opt out of globalisation, switch off your tv and refuse to eat in any fast food place on the high street.
dont by foreign technology or gadgets.
hmm so how do you lock out the rest of the world that has and is already changing your way of life .. and thats largely without any immigration .
