I mean don't get me wrong the bands were cool etc. I have been to hundreds of festivals (over exageration FTW!) but I came away thinking... I never want to go there again.

All the hype for a surprise like there had been on previous events made this years anti-climatic.. Kelly Rowland... 55 minutes... headlining.... what were they thinking? sigh...

At least I got to see the casts from various shows I love and got to spend time with my gorgeous girlfriend... thats what saved the day for me.

I thought it was an okish atmosphere actually, nobody pushed or shoved around me. I was just in front of the speaker to the left though behind the camera dude.

I left after the Ting Tings

I would've watched Kelly Rowland if she wasn't headlining, Ne-Yo, scouting for girls or Feeder should've headlined.

And the Hoosiers were on way too early

We stayed until McFly finished, then walked to my mums.My daughter wandered in at 6 pm and told me Kelly Rowland was pre-recorded!From what we saw, from the beach,it was not as good as last year.Glad i didn't pay.My daughter toldme loads of people moved the fence and got in for nothing. There was a large gap in the outer fence.I am glad to say she was not one of them!

Ermm, i dont feel i was ripped of but to the person who was like 3 rows from the front, i was about 1/2 from the front. We gave up after the Pigeon detectives and got lifted over the fecnce to go! Some people had no respect for anyone else and were rediculously aggressive. So to the people who werent at the front, your the lucky ones. I will go again next year, but i would say be prepared to be unbelievably squished and shoved. But i got my ticket signed by the guy out of the Ting Tings (: Oh and a guy out of sknis walked past us (: x

I felt ripped off slightly but i've come to expect it. Luckily we were front row had really good security and a great view.
I left the main stage after Ne-Yo as Krlly Rowland is not what i'd call an ideal headliner.
I thought Basshunter,Ne-Yo and Sam Sparro all were trying their best with the crowd and therefore were the most enjoyable performances.
And I got to catch 2 bands on the 4music stage where everything is live and the sound is superb=]

I totally agree! I was about 5 rows from the front and still couldn't see anything so watched the big screen, which kind of defeats the object of going to see it live. Tip for next year: make the stage higher and bring the bands closer to the front. They were miles away!!
We'd all had enough after The Pigeon Detectives, and eventually got to the back after lifting a girl out of the way coz she refused to move and let us through grrrr!!!!
We'll go back next year but not guna actually go in. The kids on the beach looked like they were having more fun than us watching the big screen through the fence!

* Just to add we were so fed up we left at 3 o'clock, even after driving for 4 hours and then waiting another 6 1/2.
If everything was better organised (like queues, over-crowding and the big gaps between acts) it would have made the event a lot more enjoyable.
Can anyone tell me how this year was different to last?? It was the first one I'd been to and a lot of people have said it was better last year.

yeh definately....really annoying that they just think about what its going to look like on tv...and dissapointed kelly rowland was headlining so we just walked off then and went to see envy and other sins.
id be really annoyed if i was a major fan of adele as well...seeing as i dont think they even explained or anything...?
also if they dont sing live etc...not really much point although i did enjoy scouting for girls and basshunter was just good fun...dont usually like their music but the jumping around etc.. Cool
i think the best part for me was the journey home hehe...stuck in traffic for 3hours to get on the motorway but there was water pistol fights running around the road and getting other cars. and people sharing crisps LOL! lots more things but v.funny and then saw katie from the ting tings at the petrol station about 10pmish!!!!!! Big Grin in their minibus thing

Yeah i think my favourite part was the drive home in the queues, with my ipod on really loud singing and dancing along and generally annoying the other road users!

Least favourite part - Giving up all hope of ever getting on one of the park and ride buses and walking the 4-5 miles to the park.

I couldn't see the stage, and i'm not that short, i couldn't even see the big screens! And i'm gutted now i know that everyone's music was pre-recorded, bit obvious now i think about it but i still feel cheated. And wtf about all the "ok, 30 seconds of screaming for the tv" and the clips of last year and "celebs" like alesha dixon talking about when her band played (what, 2003?) Grrrrr. Rant over, i want my £30 back pls

we kept getting pushed nd shoved nd people kept pushing in front of us so we couldn't see... then people kept knocking my friends hat off so after the Hoosiers and a bit of Robyn we wandered over the Aygo Disco bit and stayed there for the rest of the day.. we meet loads of hollyoaks people, skins cast, Sam Sparro, Nikki from big brother, George Sampson, Gladiators Spartan and (don't know who the other one was!) Hoosiers walked right past us well all these people did! Gemma Bissex was really nice and we got our photo with her! We went back for mcfly, Duffy and Alphabeat, then agen for Ting Tings and Kelly Rowland but to be honest we had a better time standing between the signing tent and Aygo Disco coz we met and saw all these people! And my friends are in the background for Big Brothers Little Brother coz they chased after Nikki Grahame lol so it was great
we're definatly going back next year just so we can stand there and meet people again! Smile it was awesome there!!!

i felt very ripped off!

plus i spent more time clapping for the damn cameras than singing...but i guess T4 as long as we were 'appearing' to have fun , thats all that matters.

I was very dissapointed! i was a T4 on the Beach Virgin.. my first... and probably my last time! i did enjoy most of the acts... when they were actually on. i was getting very annoyed that i had paid to be there but that bloke was treating us all like performing seals!!! eventually i only cheered when the acts actually came on. i didnt think it was very well organised, there was sometimes a 10/20 minute gap between some of the acts, and instead of putting on the music to keep us entertained, they either played TV adverts.. which i can watch for free at home! made us cheer like idiots for 30 seconds straight, or left us stood there in silence! kinda ruined the whole atmosphere! Basshunter and Ne-yo were amazing so they made my day worth while. haven't really got much else to say about it.. well nothing good anyway!

I have free accomadation as my girlfriends mum's boyfriend lives in Weston. I will never ever go there before.

I was 4 rows from the front... people were horrible.. people pushing me and my girlfriend. At one time someone actually pushed my girlfriend over... not cool... We then decided to move out of there...

My experience was then ruined by people not letting us out... so we had to work our way to the VIP area to our right.

From there we found our way out.. We left the centre when Robyn started. It had taken the crowd just under 1hour to make me decide that I didnt want to EVER come back.

Due to the crowd being absolute knbs we didnt get up the stairs and off the beach till Sam Sparro started his set..

Me and my girlfriend who we know realisd was bleeding then spent another 30minutes with a paramedic cleaning her wound.

We then went and sat by the Aygo Disco.. The only saving grace for the entire day was the fact that mackala (sp?) from hollyoaks chatted with us for ages.. We got pictures etc. And same with Eli (sp?) and Elliot... Mucho love for the Hollyoaks people.

I will never be wasting ym time and money on a group of people who are more bothered about what it will look like on TV than the experience of the 45,000 people who have paid to be there.

I have never been so angry in my life. I have been to Download and Reading and never been hurt... and you can only imagine the pits etc in rock festivals... 3 day or to 2 day festivals with 3 times us much people...

Rave and Rant over...

First time there.

The Hoosiers, Scouting For Girls, Pigeon Detectives, The Feeling, Guillemots, Envy & Other Sins and Revered and The Makers were the best out of the acts there. Might be because I was fans of them so enjoyed them the most. But I couldn't see anything, not even the screens. I'm not small and the people around me were all the same size, but the stage was WAY too low. They need to higher it a lot more next year. There needs to be more screens half way back so more people can see. Crowd around me was okay even though there was guys around us shouting stuff but to be honest some of there comments they said were hilarious and made the day better. What annoys me is when you get a group of 5 girls in bikinis barging through the crowd, no sorry no excuse me's just MOVE, just so they can get closer to Ne-Yo. Look, he's not going to see you and sleep with you. Get a grip Roll Eyes

When me and my friends wanted to get out people were kind enough to move, resepct them people.

Got to the other stage just before Five o'Clock heroes, but sat on the floor and listened to them while eating noodles (Which were the worst noodles I've eaten, cold and not flavour with with a flavour just being dumped on top) then I stayed there on my own until after Envy & Other Sins. You could tell the people on the 4music stage were playing the real music.. and on the main stage all done over MP3.

Come on T4. Live music has to be live with the bands singing and playing their own music. Too right The Zutons stopped a few times to show it was being lip-synced. They should be respected for doing this. Shows how the producers are stupid and making bands not play live.

If I decide to go next year I think I'll stay at the 4music stage; Live music and less pushing.

I stayed in the golden circle till after Mcfly finished, then had to push my way through the crowds to the signing tent (they could of made it more obvious how to get to it, by the way) to meet the skins cast, who weren't there.
SO I lost my front row spot and spent half an hour being shoved and pushed to get across the beach for no reason. If they advertise someone being somewhere at a certain time, they should make sure that that person is there. We waited for 30 minutes but no sign of them.

The constant 'lets practise your screaming' was ridiculous too.. if a good enough show has been put on, the enthusiasm will show. The practising singing 'singing in the rain' was a total P*ss take too. If they are SO desperate to make it look like we're having a good time, why not put in some effort to ensure we have one?!
Its really not a gig... it is the filming of a tv show. Playing adverts at the crowds was a bit pointless, some music playing would have kept the atmosphere up, rather than 20 minute gaps everywhere.

They could of explained Adeles absence rather than ignoring it, too.

It took us an hour to get out (we left early). We went to several 'exit' signs only to be told they were not actually exits.
Spent the day with the distinct feeling of an performing animal in a zoo.
It was not this bad last year!!!

it was my first time this year so not everything went to plan i got a good spot even tho i wasnt at the front i used my digital camera to zoom in on the stage. I was starving half way through feeder i thort i was going to faint but when i got to the food area it was like £6 for a curry rap bloody rip off but i had to eat i must admit it was very nice but not worth £6 they need to realized most of the ppl there are students n dnt have enough money i am glad i took at least £60 n came out with £20 left so it was alrite but some ppl dnt have that sort of money as the ticket to get in was £35 i think you got wat you paid for just like other festivals like leeds £155 for camping weekend and it defo worth all that money. T4 need to learn from there mistakes and let ppl take food n beverages in and make it more organized especially at the signing tent oh and 1 more thing i think its commesence not to go in a very crowded area with a cup of red wine or any other cup of drink as sum did spill some red wine dwn the back of my WHITE top that nearly ruined my dad luckly my bf was there to cheer me up.

Hey, this was my first time at T4 on the beach and tbh... it was better than i thought it was going to be... the prices of the food etc was way too expensive £5 for a burger?? me and my friends jus waited till we got back to bristol to get summit to eat.
Most of the bands that played were allrite scouting for girls, feeder, basshuter had to be the best of them all. Some 1 mentioned about people sneeking in.. wen was wlking to the fron entrance we saw people sneaking in through the fence... its like wtf?? they should have better security. And the thing with not being allowed to bring food into the beach area... some people may have to bring food along with them for medical reasons.. i heard one girl having her food taking of her because the security guard didn't believe she was diabetic... my mums a diabetic and she needs her food.. and with the ques for food it was ridiculus.
All in all i had an okey time there the journey there was auwfull and the journey back was aswell... but thts not channel 4's fault thes the gwr!!
lozzi xx Angel
