I'm hardly Michael Fish but I do know a few things about the weather.
Here's the Met Office's weather predictions for summer 2008

European forecast for Summer 2008 Temperature and rainfall
For north-west Europe we continue to predict a slightly enhanced risk of more unsettled spells than usual with average or above-average rainfall. In contrast, rainfall is more likely to be below average over much of southern and eastern Europe. Mean summer temperatures are more likely to be above 1971-2000 averages over much of Europe, with the highest probabilities of warmer than average over Mediterranean regions.
UK forecast for Summer 2008 Temperature
There is a slightly enhanced chance of more frequent cloudy and cool spells compared to recent summers prior to 2007. Nevertheless, mean temperatures are more likely to be above the 1971-2000 average.
Rainfall Our forecasting methods continue to suggest that rainfall for the summer as a whole is more likely to be either near, or above average.

It's possible... it was pretty grim last year but eventually the sun came out! =) T4 would carry on even if it rained anyway because the stage is sheltered. But even if it rains it's still going to be great! =D
Yehh, the stage is covered so we'd have to stand in the rain n get wet. Hopefully won't be the case. Want it to be nice n hot, but typically a storm or summin will break in haha.

UK forecast for remainder of Summer 2008
Temperature
We continue to predict an enhanced chance of more frequent cloudy and cool spells compared to recent summers prior to 2007. Nevertheless, mean temperatures are more likely to be above the 1971-2000 average. Rainfall
Our forecasting methods favour above-average or near-average rainfall for the remainder of the summer period.
No one will know for sure until about 2/3 days before. The most a weather forecaster can predict is 5 days in advance, and even with that its only 70% likely.

UK Outlook for Thursday 10 Jul 2008 to Saturday 19 Jul 2008:
The end of next week and the coming weekend will remain generally unsettled with either showers or longer spells of rain at times, although there will also be some drier and brighter intervals with some sunshine between times. Then as we head through the following week the weather is expected to gradually become more settled as low pressure moves away and high pressure builds from the southwest. The best of the weather is likely in southern and eastern areas where it will become mainly dry and bright. However further north and west there are still likely to be further showers or spells of rain at times. Temperatures will be generally near normal, although it will become a little warmer in the sunnier conditions.

UK Outlook for Friday 11 Jul 2008 to Sunday 20 Jul 2008:
Friday and Saturday will be unsettled with some sunshine, but also showers or longer outbreaks of rain. The heaviest of the rain or showers probably over England and Wales, with mainly dry weather across the north of Scotland. More unsettled and showery weather is expected for Sunday and for the start of next week, with again the risk of some heavy and prolonged showers in the south on Sunday. Conditions should start to improve towards the mid week with the showers becoming fewer and lighter. Temperatures will generally be near or a little below average although it should become warm in the southeast later. There are indications that high pressure could build through the second half of next week, giving the promise of more settled and warmer conditions.
UK Outlook for Saturday 12 Jul 2008 to Monday 21 Jul 2008:
Generally unsettled through this weekend with showers across southern areas, some locally heavy and thundery, especially on Saturday. Drier in the north on Saturday with sunny spells and a few showers, before cloud and rain spreads in from the north-west on Sunday and edges southwards. The first half of the following week looks as though it will remain unsettled in the north and west with rain or showers at times, although becoming more settled in the south and east with a trend for longer dry spells with some sunshine. Temperatures near normal, although rather cool in showers and slightly above for some eastern parts later. There is a hint at the moment of a ridge building into the south for the second half of next week bringing more settled conditions.
UK Outlook for Sunday 13 Jul 2008 to Tuesday 22 Jul 2008:
Cloud and outbreaks of rain spreading slowly across the UK reaching most places by late Sunday. Rain perhaps preceded by isolated showers in the south-east. Cloud and rain then clearing to bright spells and showers on Monday. Remaining fairly unsettled then through a large part of next week with showers, some locally heavy but some longer spells of rain at times especially in the north and west. The best of the drier and brighter intervals are expected in the south and south-east. Windy at times mainly in the north and west. Temperatures near normal, although rather cool at times. There is a hint at the moment of a ridge building into the south later next week and into the start of the following week, bringing more settled conditions here.
UK Outlook for Monday 14 Jul 2008 to Wednesday 23 Jul 2008:
Monday is expected to be dry, bright and quite warm over much of the U.K. before cloud and rain spreads in across many northern and western parts Tuesday, with mainly fine conditions hanging on in the south and east. It will then remain unsettled generally through much of next week with showers, some locally heavy and also with longer spells of rain at times especially in the north and west. The best of the drier and brighter intervals are still expected in the south and south-east. Rather windy at times, especially in the north and west. Temperatures near normal, although rather cool at times. There is a hint of a ridge building again in the south late next week and early the following week, to bring more settled conditions here.
