It might be a good idea, weather in this country isn't dependable, although last year on the day it was scorching the beach was really groggy and mud-like, as I said in a previous thread.
To be honest, wear easy clothes that you feel comfortable in, and you should be fine. Obviously heels or your best shoes should be a no-go.
its my first time too, but its gonna depend on the weather leading up to it isnt it! last years weather was pants! so the beach would have been sodden! hopefully its gonna be warm heading up to the event,and on the day so everyone will be out in their flipflops !
not if we have an awesome summer and the sand is dry your feet will sink into the sand and the sand is bound to sneak into your shoe! its really irritating!!!
last year i wore flip flops and took them off and put them in my bag as soon as i got my space and just had fun dancing in the puddles. I was in the golden circle though so might have had less of a chance of people standing on my toes.
