I know that every band/artist had a backing track to help them, but The Zutons didn't sing at all, they couldn't even mime properly! I love Valerie and they didn't even make an effort. I feel so cheated! If you're gonna mime, at least do it properly.

I disagree. If you're being told to mime tell the organizers where to shove there backing tracks... Bands are meant to be live.

i saw them on the tv at the itunes festival.. they didnt mime then
at the end of the day i dont care if they mimed or not.. i still enjoyed just hearing their songs.. still got the crowd going didnt it?
the zutons got shitty because they had to sing with a back track/mime but they knew they had too, they would have already known the circumstances and rules cos they were at t4 two years ago:/
i heard that the zutons were told that they couldn't sing live, and they got angry and didn't even try to mime.
if the zutons weren't allowed to sing live, does that mean all the bands had to mime?
