Yes I am over 50 and there were loads older than that,last year.We don't pay,we live here and we go to the beach.Last year there were more people,on the beach,partying than had paid to go in.You can see everything and you don't have to pay!

Think me and my family will be doing that next year, get to take a picnic etc, feel a bit of a mug paying £5 for a burger, queuing for ages, then you look on the beach and them guys have got beach chairs and no pushing and shoving!! Looks like more fun!!
