I discovered the my trainers do NOT like lots of water and wet sand as I took half the beach home in the them, and my fave combats are covered in the sand where everyone kept kicking it all over me, but it was still an enjoyable experience - just should have gone with the wellie option!!!

My trainers have scrubbed up quite well. Big relief. And my trainers have a bit of a wedge on them so kept my jeans out of the sand. But next year, maybe wellies. Note to self: Buy some wellies.

Yer i did i couldnt keepmy flip flops on so was in bare feet all the time. still havent got all the sand out the car yet! lol it was a great day tho loved it!!
I've made that mental note too, the annoying thing is that someone told me to go and buy some but I could NOT be bothered to go to town just to buy wellies! So I suffered! The other annoyance is I didnt bother with sun cream and got a sunburnt face which is now peeling away nicely! Cautionary tale for the kids there I think!!

Yeeah was crazy! By the end of it, my friend and I had started counting the shoes & flip flops left in the mud/sand ;]
I got sunburnt too! Could feel it happening even before McFly were on & that man on stage was saying there's free sun cream available and I couldnt bloomin' find any all day! Booo.
