Does anyone know the rules on alcohol? Can we buy it there or bring our onw????

Yeah it will be avilable and as jazer said they do search your bags but it may be possible to get away with it, last year my bag wasnt properly searched, they just looked into it and let us in so it depends

Depending on the weather, they might be really strict on bag searches, dont want underage teens smuggling alcohol in and becoming dehydrated etc.

The prices were soooooooooooo expensive last year, half of it got sloshed over the place when returning to your place...did see Taka from Feeder which made me a happy bunny.

How much is say a bottle of beer or a smirnoff ice or something?

You have to buy it there. They sell beer :P They do say that they will check your bags, but from experience they don't really!

They have a fair idea of who is drunk upon entry, from my personal experience.. I saw a group of guys around 18-20ish... obviously the legal age but absoloutly out of it, they were stopped searched and eventually turned away... my bag was searched throughly and was allowed to take in water bottles etc, as with alcohol the safest bet is to buy it there, but like with food, expect queues...
