Does anyone know what happened to the sound on the main stage?
The secondary speakers half way back could not have been switched on for about the first 4 or 5 acts. I left at this point to go to the 4music stage (which was perfect).
They were switched on when I returned at about 2:00. This was very annoying, as the early bands sounded awful.
No, but I did exactly the same, I returned for Just Jack and the sound quality had improved immeasurably. It was much more fun and atmospheric when the sound was turned up,
at first I was worried the whole day was going to be a letdown!
Yep I agree. We were by the speakers on the right half way back and could hardly hear anything, especially when they were talking. Was a brilliant atmosphere wen the sound was finally turned on!! Suprisingly Mika did it for me!!
