on the rules and regs of t4otb it says that bringing food/drink especially alcohol is prohibited as there are plenty of food and drink stands on site. You are only allowed to bring 1 bottle of 500ml water unopened. I guess thats so they know its defo water in the bottle. They say they search everyone but i doubt it since they'l have like 40000 people to get in, so its up to you if you wanna risk it!
also its on professional recording equipment that isnt allowed digital cameras/disposable cameras/mobiles are fine!

We want everyone to have a good time at T4 On The Beach so if you're coming along, there are a few things you'll have to remember:
You will be able to buy alcohol at the event, so if you look under 21, don't forget your ID.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Only unopened 500ml or less plastic bottles of water allowed on site. No other bottles, cans, containers, alcohol or food to be brought into the venue
There are areas to buy food and drinks.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen, the lobster is so not a good look.
If it's hot, make sure you drink plenty of water so you don't get dehydrated.
No professional camera equipment or recording equipment will be allowed, you can still take snaps with an ordinary camera though.
Please don't litter the beach; bag and bin your rubbish so that the beach and the sea don't get polluted.
Everyone wants to have a great time so show some respect for other people in the crowd.
We reserve the right to search ticket holders at entry gates and confiscate restricted items.
The concerts are open air. The stage is covered, so in the event of rain, the concert will still go ahead, so be prepared!

I guess there going to serach so many people that they might miss a few people out so you might get away with taking food and that?
Heyy they check all bags at the gates but they just look inside it and if you have it open ready its really quick. I didnt get hungry last year so didnt have any food until i'd left.
I dont know about food at the actual event but there where plenty of spar type shops around. we got an icecream from one of those after. im pretty sure ull b able to get away with having food in your bag if u put it at the bottom or whatever.
My friend took food and drink last year and she got away with it. I've took my camera both times i went and no one said anything to me and i plan on taking it again lol

i thought last year food was allowed to be brought, that it said so on the rules & regs isnt it only this year that they have said no food to be brought in and that you must buy on site only??

I heard that this was the only year you couldn't bring food in. But I don't know this is my first year.
jade yes thats what i thought, which may be why no one had food taken off them last year..because it was allowed...maybe this year it may be confiscated if found it peoples bags? idk!
Oh I don't know I'm just gonna bring lots of money and buy stuff Lol. Oh but then if your hungrey your have to give up where your standing.. Oh I haven't thought this through!! Lol I'll starve lol.
To be honest i was gonna take loads of food, but thinking about it, you don't get THAT hungry in like 7/8 hours, maybe move to get a burger once or something.
But i'm travelling with national express so i won't get there till 11.15 ish. so i'll just have breakfast before i go and when i get back i'll go to the chippy or something.

same im getting the bus. where you leaving from. & why do they take food away? its stupid? but i suppose all this crap recently, they have to be careful.
