No they don't search your bags or anything. Me and my friends brought lunch last year, and we weren't ever told off.

They searched our bags when we've been for the past two years.. they will only briefly look so i doubt they will take food out... x

Last year me and my mate took in 2 bottles of Vodka, a large bottle of cola & some cans of beer.

We where very lucky as they searched some people in front of us and they took there drinks from them.

Yes, I presume so however as thetickets will state. They reserve the right to refuse entrance. I'm guessing if you're priorly drunk and/or agressive you will not be allowed in. There is a bar on site however anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 will be asked for ID and all that...

So the best bet is not to bring any and buy it on site... at the end of the day most of the 40,000 or so people who came last year, despite getting muddy seemed to have a good time without it.

I was just wondering on the website it says unopened bottles of water so does that mean you can't drink it whilst your waiting to get in or anything??

i guess cos water is fairly cheap just have one open for when you queueing and you can chuck it away or give it to security, like when you go on a plane sorta.

hah i'm gonna be weighed down with loadsa water.

i'm gonna take food from home, y'know usual sandwiches and crap from poundshop- E numbers!

i mean if they take it off you its no big loss.

We took open bottles in with us last time.
If you think about the amount of people they want to get through the gates in a really short space of time they aren't going to be checking bottles that closely to see if they're open or not.

fortunately i'm already 18 and i'l be 19 the day before t4otb so i can just buy it on site..depending on the weather..if its too hot i probs won't bother cos il get ill haha!
