Despite the appauling treatment of series 10 by CH4 ,they must know by know they have a winner. So will there be a series 11 or derivitive like Scrappy Races ?
I have read on another scrapheap site this week that they are making a new series but it is not the same as we have at the moment. Apparently Robert and Lisa have gone but Dick Strawbridge is now in the seat.

And the format will be that of the roadshows.
All rather sad, still we have big brother and endless repeats of friends to look forward to......

Ah Ha ! someone seems to know a little somthing about the new format show. do tell more:-), what do you mean it will be like the roadshows ? different episode that are not related together except with Dick ? that would be a pity as it is good to follow a team through the episodes to a final conclusion.

The format will be the same as the current road shows, people build machines at home and take them to a event to compete.
No Scrapheap, no build in 10 hours, no finding of stuff that could be made to do the job, and probably very little coverage of the builds.
Col Dick rather then Rob and Lisa, not even sure if it has been commissioned, if it has, knowing Channel4 they'll probably show it sometime after the London Olympics.
thanks for that sj_4x4 I have been looking at Mr G's website this morning and according to that the new filming has already started but it didn't say anything about being like a roadshow it just said Dick Strawbridge is on it with a few other faces we know.
There was also something about the rusty regiment having an accident on the M4 ??????? anyone know what that was about ? Bob are you there ???
I would guess the cost involved in making the show got too high with the viewing figures. If there was a rip-off "phone this number for a small chance of winning a small prize" style competition within the show, then it might survive.
