can anyone beat this (now there's a challenge)! with a pub name based story?


GEORGE was at the MUTLEY TAVERN after being thrown out of the BUTCHERS after a PUNCH up.

While the STARs were still in the sky, GEORGE needed a HALFWAY HOUSE, but what ANGEL would like to feel this MARINERS HEAD on their BARROW ARMS for TRAVELLERS REST?

GEORGE thought he was looking rather ROYAL, looking like a KINGS HEAD, but really he looked an OLD PIG.

It wasn't long before our CASANOVAS ARMS were touching the OLD PEACOCK, offering her BLUE BELLS. GEORGE gave her a SALUTATION, which sounded like COCK and BULL, the OLD PEACOCK realised that he was an OLD FOX, and removed his SAILORS ARMS. She gave him a swift BOOT and SLIPPER!

He ran away without his MERMAID to be, returning to his SHIP INN time for bed, before the BELL AND WHISTLE made him wake to the next days SUN!

I knew george, he was a right CROWN and ANCHOR and was the PITS (pub in the square), apparently caught polishing his ROYAL OAK in public, but as he was related to the THREE KINGS no charges were brought and he rode off on his WHITE HORSE.

Polishing isn't banned in public is it?
