Really, hope this hasn't been said before...scared of a backlash!! Not having a go, but be sensitive to new users and us busy family/working peops who try to read all the posts but there's never enough hours in the day... Anyway, have noticed that tigers seem to have no problem attracting people to their island, but they just can't keep them. Sharks are the other way round...they've had no defectors to date, but haven't won a new arrival for a few weeks...
So, my question is, why is that? What do the sharks have that the tigers don't have, and vice-versa???
Im a Tiger fan, but i think the reason they cant keep people on their island is beacuse they seem to go through phases. When a new person comes they go all out to impress them then they get bored and move on the next one.
Yes that's true, There's def a feeling that they're a bit flat at the moment, perhaps they need more good-looking blokes to liven it up a bit...maybe that will happen this week when we see Allen work his magic..he's quite good-looking for a younger chappy!
The reason the tigers are probably more appealing is because the girls are attractive and it is very casual and it would be easy to establish yourself as a big character.
Whereas the Sharks...You've already got big characters.
But with space for a big character on sharks now that Lorenzo has left, I wonder if sharks will do better in the winning new arrivals stakes now...or even in winning over alpha-male type like Ben L from tigers
People have been picking Sharks because they feel they fit in with the whole group dynamic. However people (well, men) pick Tigers simply because of the attractive single women. In other words, people are choosing Tigers for superficial reasons rather than a real commitment to that group, which is leading to a more fragile dynamic.
There WAS a committed core to the Tigers, but they are gradually moving over to the other island. With the heart and soul of BOTH tribes becoming established on Shark island, it'll be hard for the Tigers to recover. I mean many of the Tiger girls will have intended to return out of loyalty to their friends, but if they all end up together on Shark Island, what would be the point of moving back?
Another reason is, from the highlights we get to see, it seems like Ben Lunt is so committed to attracting new arrivals, he's forgotten it's also important to consider the people already there. With Amy already on her break and more fireworks tomorrow, it will be interesting to see what happens.

yeah ben lunt has seen off amy had a go at all the other girls except Lianne and now looks like he may have seen off sophia as well - come back lorenzo your a pussycat compared to him.
i think ben lunt is the main reason that people are coming to sharks but also the last few weeks it's been boys that's why they are picking tigers but the most recent girl is naomi and she picked sharks so it just depends if it's a boy or girl
