I wonder how many of you lot who go on and on about building have actually been in the tropics? Most of the villagers who live in the huts far better than the Hawks sleep outside in the evenings. As you must have noticed most of the Sharks, Tigers and Hawks sleep at the beach at night where gentle sea breeze sends one to sleep.Rain comes and goes, it is refreshing, exciting and bodies and clothes on them dry out in no time. It is not the building that makes such island, it is the people living their and the fun they choose to have. After all that hard work, where were the cherries of their toil left......on the island!
That's exactly why the Hawks were the only ones whose work was necessary - the island was more harsh, they didn't just have to build a shelter, but had to start everything from scratch and find other food as well; lounging around on an island is probably fun for this young lot, but I bet the Hawks (most of them enyway) had a more rounded and satisfying experience where they were.
In the end, I found it a more interesting island to watch; the dynamics were so much more interesting.

I voted Ricky because hes really good at lifting spirits and he does good team talks!! He is a team player and puts all his effort into things like when he was doing the football pitch for the game. I love his personality!! And he also happens to look good to... Lmao!
I also like Char, James and Marv quite a lot but I could only pick one unfortunatly!!
...Since the first beach party when he nominated himself to go 'home'. And he got a lot out of his experience on Hawk island - remember at the beginning when he was seen as the 'weaker' islander out of himself, Char and Nick? And now he's one of the strongest on all 3 islands, both emotionally and physically. And he's still really sweet and kind. He's never upset anyone, never had an argument with anyone - at least, not one that's been shown. Love him

I have lived on Tropical Islands yes more than one and the villagers live in their homes not the beach! It is tourists who sleep on the beech!

JT. you must have missed the Sarah's (the one paired with Adam) time on Hawk island. Jaycee, I never said the villagers descend on the beaches at night to sleep. What I said was that a lot of them sleep outside their huts where it is generally cooler with the sea breeze that comes on land at night. When it rains they ofcourse take shelter in their huts because it is then generally cooler. If you lived on any of these atolls, off shore islands and sea side villages, you would have experienced this because it is regular.
Difficult decision for me, i thought Carly, Marv, Susan and Vicky are brilliant Tigers, on Sharks i really like Keris, Danny and Adam. On Hawks everyone has been amazing, especially Beau, Lottie, Brie, Ads and Diva with their more chilled out approach. But i'm gonna go with Char (with James as a very close 2nd)
2006 - Sharks 2007 - Sharks 2008 - whichever island ends up with the most hawks on it

Nick!! Because he was a very different aspect of shipwrecked this year. I think he did really well and i felt sad 4 him leaving his island. I found it strange how he wasnt featured really once on the main lands...it think it would be interesting to see how they all felt about him as he was the only one who had never met anyone else!! Shame on channel 4
Hard to choose a favourite because there were so many this year. Almost any of the Tigers, but especially Ricky, Josh, Carly and Vicky. For Sharks, Keris, Adam, Barrie and Lara were all nice. Foe Hawks, again almost any of them, but especially Char, Diva and Beau. My favourite? - choose one out of Ricky, Josh and Beau. What about least favourite? I guess there is one obvious character, maybe two, but, a late entrant for this particular crown must be Joseph. Something about him reminds me of Malfoy from Harry Potter. What do you think? PS Where can I vote for Shipwrecker of the year, - if I can ever make my mind up that is?
