In a couple of weeks, Nick becomes the final new arrival on both Shark and Tiger Islands incognito. He chooses to live with the Tigers the remaining Hawk islanders swamp the beach party and side the island they would like to be part of. Danny and Marvin declare the Tigers the official winners of shipwreck 2008 with no nominations having taken place
i don't know how much of this is "fact" but it definately sounds plausible and i reckon it would be the best thing! im really supporting tigers but like sharks and kind of think that sharks deserve it more for a reason i can't place my finger on
Also, I don't see Danny as the one to represent Tigers. I would think more Carly so they would balance the boy/girl thing. They have done it the last two years so why change it on a third?

Nooooooooooo please hpe its not true! The Sharks deserve it sooo much more, theres obviously a reason why they have been winning throughout the series! They have just had fun and been themselves, the Tigers have been obsessed with winning from day one. Had a feeling the Tigers would win with them being the underdogs! GO SHARKEYS.
It would make sense, with the Hawks deciding who wins, Nick is the only one who hasn't been on either island so it would give him a chance to get to know the two groups.
Either way, this series in particular has been SOOOOOOO scripted; it has gone beyond ridiculous!!! I loved Shipwrecked in 2006. The producers should have more faith in the shipwreckers coming up with their own entertaining antics ALL the time, rather than interfering and scripting some of it. Not very 'reality' tv when people are suggested things to do. Just my opinion!

After this week's episode I'm not sure if they definately will nominate back. In previous years when people have nominated over they've grown attached to the "opposition" so to speak and I don't think Lauren's antics this week helped matters!
I totally agree with you yummyjenny. It has seized to be a joke, the way the producers have been meddling and manipulating things. The choice of which of the originals went to Hawk island was dubious. All we saw was a hnad picking out the short straw but not the person. Is it difficult to show Char's face, body and hand as she drew the short straw. It is not because they did it with the rest. James coral was a fix too. The coin used to decide between between Brie and Jonathan was heavily weighted to show Tiger up. Why couldn't they hacve show the path of the coin as it spiralled upwards. No they didn't because it never rotated. Is it difficult to fathom out that the island which wins most new arrivals would reject most of the new arrivals and therefore have more infavourable votes amongst the Hawks? Is it difficult to realise that those who left Hawk island and went home early would have voted for Shark.....at least two of them, for sure. Is it therefore difficult to that in the event of Hawks deciding the fate of the other 2 islands, that Shark would LOOSE. No! IT IS NOT

surely they couldn't have predicted how brie would catch it though. some would have flipped it onto the ground, some would have caught it and shown it and she caught it then flipped it. the weighting if there was such a thing wouldn't have been fool proof
Err...how the hell would you know if the coin was weighted? Were you there? Did you take the coin after it had been flipped and weigh it yourself? If it happened to have the sharks pointing upwards does that mean it was weighted for them?

There is only one way to catch a falling coin, especially a larger than usual coin.....like the one they used....let it fall into your palm and there is only one way to place on your other wrist. Slow motion the scene and you will find out that the path upwards of the coin was not shown and only the briefest path down was shown and that even showed it not rotating on its way down. It was a fix pure and simple. Brie was always going to Hawk island as a replacement for the departed Lucy.......and they are so much alike.
