I just did my sums and so far Stuart has recieved 782 votes. (He has been top boy everyweek)
Terri has 800 votes and she hasnt been top girl everyweek so she probably has more votes than those i've counted. (i only know the number of who has recieved the most votes and Lianne and Amy have won some weeks).
So rest assured guys and gals. I'm pretty sure Stu won't win the money!
Winning a week, any week, only gets you the option to be on the short list at the live final. The number of votes along the way is not relevant. There are currently 5 people on that short list.

WOOYER - Result!! He doesn't deserve it!! He has added zilch to the show so far. All the girls just vote for him because he has a pretty boy face - hardly a good reason to be presented with £15,000!!!!!!

This is how the shipwrecker of the year voting works.
This year, you have the chance to crown your favourite islander 'Shipwrecker of the Year' and help them win fifteen thousand pounds! Each week you can text a vote for your favourite Shipwrecked Boy and a vote for your favourite Shipwrecked Girl. Only those boys and girls who win a weekly vote will be eligible to win 'Shipwrecker of the Year'. We will select the three boys and three girls who have won a weekly vote with the highest number of votes to go head to head in a live final at the end of the series.
But thats lame. Whats the point in voting when the person with the most votes may not even win.

I'm so mad about this Some of you may know that I already posted a thread last week about Stuart winning each week but it makes it worse that its all down to the live final! What is the point texting and seriously what is the point Channel 4 on telling us the actual number of votes as they don't count anyway?! Seriously I think we do need to complain bobbyboo123 as this is seriously annoying. Well done hayleysherborne for looking into this properly and finding out what we are really voting for here!

They're going to have A LOT of trouble finding 3 guys who have won a weekly vote, the way things are going! Hopefully they'll have a look at the numbers of people who have texted in for stu, and find that it's only about 5 different numbers!
Trying to stay neutral on Shipwrecked, but proving difficult, as the forus are so 1-sided!

Yeh i think they will have a vote when they are all in the studio. To be honest, I doubt it would make much of a difference if Stuart is in the studio as he could just get his friends/relatives to vote in for him.

To be honest why do you want to complain so badly? UNLESS, YOU ARE VOTING?? Only reason I personally see no point in complaining is because I myself do not waste money and vote in the first place!!

Well fair enough, thats your opinion but im wanting to complain about the whole way in which shipwrecker of the year is run as i personally (you may not agree with me) think that its confused a lot of people and when so many people are opposed to stuart continually winning, you have to ask yourself if something fishy is going on.
If any of you had any balls and actually complained instead of whinning on and looking to someone else to do it for you you might actually get somewhere. The number of votes cast to win may not be very high but its quite obviously more than any one else gets, vote or shut the F*ck up
I am voting and i just think its unfair that others aren't winning from the guys when loads of people are saying they are voting. This is just my opinion on it all. Im not trying to start an argument
