No URLs - Topic Powered by eve community

The posting of web links (URLs) outside of the C4 website is now not allowed on the Shipwrecked forums; Especially any reference to myspace.

Anyone posting up URLs will risk having thier forum account suspended.

Ah, I had wondered about this before. People are constantly asking how to find shipwreckers on myspace.
I have posted adresses b4 cos it seemed like the easiest thing to do! Sorry

I don't understand this rule- you can have URL's in your signatures on pretty much all other forums. And as there's a disclaimer stating that channel 4 can't be held responsible for the content of third party websites there's really no need for it.

It's to prevent free advertising. Most people who put URLs in their sigs are usually trying to advertise their music or something.

It would get out of control

Hey!

Just got a question to ask yah about this!

My friends set up a fan site for shipwrecked on Myspace it has 1000+ friends and does interbviews with the shipwreckers over myspace Previously they've had Ben Lunt, Fiona, Stevie, Paul, Amy & Chez!
This weeks its Stu & Fran!
So i was wondering can i post the link for that seeing as its to do with shipwrecked or not??
