naomi is one of the most amazing people i have ever met in my life. as the person i am i usually dont tend to become so close to what i thought was a usual 'essex girl'. but she is nothing of the sort! she picked Sharks because she didn't get on with everyone on Tigers as well as she did on Sharks. She wasnt herself on Tigers. I became the closest to her whilst she was on tigers hence the reason why i cried and she also cried when she picked the sharks! but in the end a girl was going to pick sharks for whatever reason, not because they like the attention! but because they feel like that island would be their home! just like Ben and ben picked Tigers! on Naomis whole time there that girl didnt moan once, not once! about anything! shes a very smart beautiful girl with not a bad or jealous bone in her body so all you who want to spend your time saying bad things about a good person then go ahead but ul all prove urselves wrong in the end
nicely said. people on here tend to forget that we only see an hr a week of what we are shown by the producers. sure hav opinions on people, thats the point of a show like this, but to be mean about someone especially after just one show is nuts.what evidence have you got to back up ur opinions, what you saw in one show and what youv heard or read in papers or from other people who dont know the person! If ur gona judge people on that evidence maybe you need to look at yourselves first!

Never mind all that, what about "a girlie girl....a very girlie girl.....1000% a girlie girl" Come the first oppurtunity to show that she is a girlie girl and she went was off to Shark Island. That says it all. Nice girl she may be.girlie girl she is not!

i disagree, being a girly girly doesnt neccescarily have to be taken in the way that she prefers the company of women over men but she likes "girly" things. and being on an island of men does not mean you have to sacrifice your love of being girly.

And actually to put all the know it alls straight naomi and stevie have never bloody slept together!seriously get a grip! and i didn't go on shipwrecked to get put infront of the nation, i went on it to get away from my troubles at home and have an amazing experience! so how do you know anything about the reasons naomi went on it?! oh wait you all seem to know the real truth dont you, more than what we know! being filmed is only a small part of the whole thing! and yeh she is a girlie girl doesnt mean shes going to become best friends with every single girl there! and the people that are slating naomi so bad, actually taking their time out to abuse her only show pure jealousy! so wait,if any of you came out as a new arrival, stuart took a liking to you you got on with everyone on Sharks better than on Tigers, ud still go to Tigers, not be as happy, so not have the best experience you good.just coz ud worry about people like you lot judging people far too quick. no actually just being plain evil!

i bet that no-one on here that has been judging Naomi knows her....and she was there for months and as the viewers of the show we've only seen her twice now..for a little over an hour...i dont remember people saying anything else about any other new arrivals...if that was her choice and she was happy..well then other people should be happy for her

i no i should ignore it but being the person i am and naomi being being the friend to me she is i cant just say nothing. shes upset about it so its made me mad. and yeh everyone judges people in the public eye but usually those people are so famous and rich they dont need to care. but shes a normal person like you lot who hasnt been hated by anyone before ya no its not nice for her!especially people being horrible to her sister! seriously! you cant expect her to say nothing!
im finding it quite hard to swallow some of the comments left on the forums about naomi, i know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but i feel as though a few people are being a little to quick to judge in this situation. I realise in this day and age of reality tv that we immediately either like or dislike certain "characters" purely based on about 10 minutes of footage. (and to be honest can u get someones true nature after meeting them in that small amount of time??) We all realised that when we signed up to the show that we would be at the hands of the public, but i really never thought it would go this far. I know that every new arrival or whatever gets a bit of a ribbing when they first appear on the show, especially on the forums, and thats all a part of the game i suppose. But i feel calling naomi a "bike" ( oh yeah by the way i havent slept with naomi) and an "attention seeking cow" are going way too far. Its becoming malicious. Im not saying that i havent been rude or crude about people in the public eye... oh i dont know what im trying to say.. im just tying to defend one of my best friends. please take my word for it naomi is gorgeous in and out. she is so so kind, and has such a selfless nature, she is one in a million. I consider her one of my best friends. i dont know how much impact me witing on the forums is going to be, but if uve noticed i dont write on this thing at all and its taken something like this to push me. i hope me vouching for her helps the situation.

:O i didnt know that people are being horrible to her sister aswell....its getting out of hand...people that dont know her shouldnt judge her, and i understand why your angry about it hun, i would be aswell if someone had been saying things about my friend and they didnt even know her, i know there are some lovely people on these forums and hopefully those ones [the ones that dont want to just argue will stand up for her aswell ] and i hope that it will all settle and you and Naomi and her sister dont feel angry or upset anymore xxxxx

im not defending anyone who slags off anyone, one of my good friends is an actress in a well known soap and when she first started there she was slated for everything- people called her every name under the sun, and i sat and stuck up for her till i was blue in the face. sometimes, although its difficult you've just got to accept there is a narrow minded majority who are just going to carry on with their comments- but thats the point exactly its a majority. naomi would do well to remember that for every one person calling her something bad there is probably ten saying shes a pretty, bubbly young girl who looks like she knows how to have a laugh,.

i think some people find it hard to differenciate beween this and something like a soap. they like to seperate people into villans and good guy catagories as you would with something fictional. they forget these are real lives.

With people saying all this stuff about Naomi, she shouldn't worry about it. She should look at what people were saying about Lucy. I don't think anyone has got a chance to get to know what type of person Naomi is and I will say the same about her as I did for Lucy GIVE HER A CHANCE! she might change from first impressions.

No seriously i am in the group of people that think a little less highly of naomi. Maybe its just the way that channel 4 potrayed her. Alot like Grace in Big Bro. But unfortunetly people will think what they want and say what they want.
Maybe in 4 weeks time people will be posting how wonderful she is. I just hope for her sake that she starts coming across a bit differently in the shows from now on. Otherwise people will have a permenant impression of her and thats not nice if she's not really like that.
Look at the whole thing with Lucy, that died off soon enough, i'm sure this will too.

good point, for most people she probably will change from first impressions [to the good], i think its mainly because the public want someone that they can say they dont like...as chumbawumba said...i dont know why they do it...but as long as Naomi knows shes got the majority of people that are backing her it might give her a bit more confidence, because going into the public eye as who you are is hard, let alone when you dont even have time to defend youself xxx

To have two friends from the show come on here and defend her must mean she is very well liked and I think that should be the end of the whole naomi-hate thing. I think the best thing to do is just move on and stop talking about it, else it never really will go away.
