Just watched the BB launch - so far we've got the girl with the 1 word vocabulary (and that word is Aaaaaaaaagh!), and lots of others with a vocab of 3 (look at me, look at me). Wouldn't it be great just to dump them all on Hawk Island and see how they cope?

I don't think we've done too badly with our Islanders, all things considered.

Shipwrecked beatss BB hands down

Shipwrecked is On a desert island, full of people whose life would not depend on a reality TV show, generally quite funny and on a desert island.

BB is lame, old, overhyped,it takes over most of tv, they live in a manky house which steadily gets worse and are the most random bunch of people no-one has ever met. And oh yeah, quite often 'housemates' start to hate each other and just strut around screaming obscenities.

Its like the difference between a bowl of fruit and a 10p packet of crisps.

yeah isnt it weird how on shipwrecked they seem to make genuine long term friendships really easily with a few conflicts like everyday life but in bigbrother they make "friendships" but genrally hate everyone and scream at them

I have thought that the third island has been a really brilliant idea. Pity they couldn't get the same person who had the idea to do something for BB.

bb is absoultely rubbish!!! it takes over the telly and whod wana sit there and watch a bunch of hunger fame idiots hey!! i watched i think like the first half hour of the show when they went in then decided that it was boring and i had better things to do with my time than watch ppl completly obsessed with getting fame!! shipwrecked is by far better than bb, come on think this should be the last year for bb, why not fill up all the bb time on air with shipwrecked who seconds my vote on that?

For the first time,I haven't watched BB at all this year.It's just chalk and cheese compared to Shipwrecked and totally boring
I'm a total addict to Shipwrecked (I know,how sad ) Even the people who annoy me,I sort of sneekily respect!
I want Hawk island members to have a chance to win on their own (merit) and not to be split apart at the end.They've deserved it.

I think it's because Big brother has exausted all the possibly good contestants e.g Nasty Nick, was sheer entertainment in the same way James Mole (I think his real surname was George, but who cares to be honest) was so funny! After a few years shipwrecked will be like this and scraping the barrel. I personally don't find it entertaining watching people making fun of a blind guy.

You're so right this forum is so slow URGH! We should arrange to like all come on at one time, otherwise I never read the reply posts!

When have any of the House Mates made fun of Mikey (the blind contestant)? I've been watching it and haven't witnessed anything of the sort!

I was talking about the time he put on someones underwear (I can't remember whose) and someone made a pun about him not being able to see it. It was on the live and I realised it was cut out of the normal show....
