I've not seen anyone slag him off for airing his views. I've seen him slagged off for the way he went about it. Also, if it's alright for Ben to air his views, is it also alright for Sophia (and earlier on, Amy) to air theirs? If so, can you tell me why Ben keeps shouting them down and not letting them do so? That to me is the real problem.

Why thank you pipster01 you are a legend. I love, love, love my food just as much as Sophia and I would never steal food from others especially when the amount is very limited and neither would Soph. She is a defensive person. So what. It doesn't make her a bad person. If you need someone to be honest its Sophia.

well, if you paid attention you would actually see that ben didnt shout at sophia! he was very calm when he confronted her! she mouthed off at him so he stood up for himself! as for my comments about the food, if i was on an island like that and i was dishing out the food, if i was very hungry i would probably give myself more food than the others!! that is because i love my food and i am greedy!! the reason that i would never go on an island like that is because i love my food and if i behaved in this way it wouldnt be fair on the others that are there!! i cant be bothered to answer any of the other comments because your reply was too long and i couldnt be arsed to read it! |

I like Ben myself because people argue with people all the time. It all blows over in the end. People have hated Lucy, Naomi and others but no one talks about it now. There is nothing I can say that will change peoples minds about Sophia, I could rant on about it till I'm blue in the face. The only thing I can do is just leave it and wait for you to realise that my sister is as honest as you can get and would never do anything to upset her friends. Oh one thing though...Did Ben Lunt see Sophia put the food in her mouth??

They showed quite a few clips of here licking utensils she was serving with, which I thought was quite disgusting. During hutcam diaries quite a few of the other islanders agreed with ben l, sayign they had seen her with larger proportions of food. I wouldnt be happy with that at all. However, ben l went about sorting it out in completely the wrong way, he should have got up to her one on one and mentioned that a few people are not happy with some of these habits. Sophias reaction was completely unwarrented, she should have stayed calm and found out what the problem was without raising her voice. I think Terri was the one who held the team together. And had she been there, I think the arguement would have been more of a group discussion, instead of just two people.

How do you know she didnt do it? Theres several other islanders saying she did, as well quite a lot of footage shown with her always eating whats left in the pan/pot, which from what I could see wasnt just a mouthful(which im sure is even a lot lookign at those meals). Im not trying to be harsh, as I do that when I cook, but thats because food isnt scarce when I eat.

Have you ever heard of editing?? They've played on the fact that she likes food. They have done it with loads of people. Who else said that they have seen her eat more food than others apart from James?

I seem to remember scottish ben saying he saw her doing it too, ill have to watch the hut cam diaries again before I can say too much more. Just seemed like bit of a general consensus. Yes, of course there is editing, but they showed a lot of footage of her doing it, and they cant be filming it everytime, and they wouldnt have shown all of it either. Any thing we watch on this show can be said to have a little bias atleast, and so can anything your saying, or anything your sister has said to you. Its all about weighing up the facts, and I personally dont like it when people take mroe than their fair share. If shes hungry theres always coconuts im sure. Dont get irate, everyone will have different opinions, I still like sophie, and think she'll fit in well with the sharks if she stays. All the sharks need now is will back, and maybe lianne and they'd be close to perfect! And Ben C is def growing on me too!

I don't care if people say she likes to eat. I just don't like it when people call her a liar because she isn't. She really really hand on heart isn't. I also understand that people may think shes guilty because she started arguing rather loudly but she was trying to get her point across and he wouldn't let her. She lets go like that. So do I. It doesn't mean that shes guilty. Ben said that he saw her hand in the box but not once did he say that he saw her eat the peaches or apricots or whatever they they were.

That's true, they did show a lot, but editing can be done in many ways. For example, it could be common practice for whoever is cleaning the dishes to scrape the leftovers - ie they all do it, but all we see is Sophia, as it makes a nice story if it appears to be just 1 person. Another possibility - they show the same clip, but from several different camera angles and 1 or 2 seconds later each time, to make it look like there's a lot more incidents than there actually are. Obviously I've no idea what actually happened - just pointing out that there are lots of ways the picture can be distorted. As far as the program editors are concerned, it's all about a good story, as that equals good tv.

hello people! im not coming on here to stick up for myself because you all have your own rights an all. and im not disliking anyone whos backed ben at all, thats up too you guys! but i do wana remind you that there is alot of editing that goes on, i was not the only person that licked the untensils everybody did but yes as ive already read it was disgusting and unhygenic! but we were filthy and washed everything in the sea so it made no difference! and the reason why i let loose was because that was our third argument of the day id controlled myself up untill then i was doing well!!il stick up for ben for him saying it infront of everyone that wasnt his idea he got told too. and also lucy did stick up for me at the table claiming shed never seen me do anything of the sort and she could vouch for me because she was with me literally 24/7. see theres alot there nobody knew! but anyway thanks for being nice guys!and for those who disagree thanks for not being too nasty!!xxx

Sophias one of my favorite tigers (so she better move back!) but anyway... it actually showed her doing it on the hutcam diaries? and ben c said something about it aswell...also, sophia was the one who started shouting and all that. soo..why is ben lunt gettin the blame?

yeh ur right i could of handled it differently and had kept my calm all day. but being the person i am it had to slip out sometime. and notice the way i was laughing at the start of it because i had had it all day. so id just had enough. yeh the boys did slate me in hutcam im actually upset with ben c because he actually stuck up for me to my face. where as i knew me benny and james didnt get along. the end fact was was that the whole thing got out of hand id actually only cooked twice that week (with lucy) who stuck up for me at the table. the boys just had a major problem with me and couldnt leave me alone. it wasnt just one argument and i flew off to sharks id actually had many other arguments with benny and james which they obviously havent shown. but anyway im good friends with them both now. its wierd coz its the past for us but the present for you guys! and i wasnt the only person who licked the bloody spoons!!!you would of trust me!x
