Does anyone else think that the producers should pick REAL people to go on Shipwrecked? Don't get me wrong, I really LOVE it but sometimes, some of them seem quite false and most of them already had budding modelling/PR jobs before appearing on the show.

I agree entirely.

I do agree that the producers seem to have picked people who seem to already have some form of modelling/pr/dancing career already lined up for them. Ie Naomi, Stuart, Elisa etc. Obviously not all are, but im on a rant as im getting so annoyed with the swaps

i totally disagree i am aiming to become an actor/dancer and i want to apply for shipwrecked and your basically saying that people like us shouldnt go on the island because of what career that we want ant that we are FAKE. that is really prejudiced.

i agree, and in my opinion it just seems like jealosy to me..

Surely a lot of ppl that apply are gonna be budding dancers/models whatever, people that like being in the limelight. Obviously not all are, but I don't think it's that suprising that we see so many out there (though the show does seem a little biased to totally stunning people.) Remember people that apply have to be able to take a lot of time of work/education, last year there were a number of gap year students.
