Totally agree well disappointed wif the casting team behind this bunch of peeps. What happened to the fun islandoo screening process that gave everyone the opportunity. Gutted, sure ill still watch!!!!
I dont know, at first i thought the same but then when i thought about it it really is only Lara, Carli and Tom that are rich and posh!! Jack is from Essex, Susan, Marvin, BArrie, Katie, Danny are not from Priv backrounds i dont think! I think it is good that they are not all juat picked cos they are models too this year....although, with a tan and a diet of lambs toungue who knows!!! heehee!

well i dont really have that much to say. The 2 from liverpool && the girl from cheshire actually all look familiar to me, but from being from around that area,its a possibility anyhow. Im being drawn towards lyking Tom from Sussex, just on his opinion of football && rugyby haha. Also the farmer girl was annoying me so much within about 1min of her starting to talk ahhhh. can not wait for the new series to start now though

I found the 'spinning round on a big field while you hold a camara with a cheesy grin' quite unneeded and it wasn't funny after the first two people. But if I remember correctly, they did it last year with the 'Meet the Islanders'.

did they say the series will show for 3 months or they went out there for 3 months??? maybe it was soo bad this yr that they cut it short .... still really wanna watch it though !!!!

I think Shipwrecked is just getting the shaft for shows from the US like Ugly Betty.
I am quite shocked because largly Shipwrecked has been a success the last two years. Maybe they are running out of ideas (but that doesn't stop Big Brother )

Maybe they just wanted it to finish in june eventhough it hasnt started later that usual because bb normally starts in may. Dont see why though that might affect it :\
i hope they havnt made it like big bro were it was a great and simple idea at first and year by year they bring all the wannabez and forget the best bit of the programme ... oh well will jus have to wait and see

I agree CDT. And remember NAs come out each week so you never know who will be round the corner to shake things up! I wish everyone would stop moaning....everyone was waiting for it to come on and now its starting people are monaning!!!!
If you can remember "Meet the Islanders" from last year they all came across differently to how they were at the end and you all loved them then.
Just wait and see for it to start!! I personally think it is going to be great to see a more varied bunch of people on the Islands and see how they change! Isnt that the point...come on people, give them a chance!!!!!

Why would they higher the price money if they are going to lose out on money themselves. 8 episodes are gone which means 8 'shipwrecker of the year' type things are gone.

No-one is moaning about the new islanders, people just find it unfair that some/most are from priviledged backgrounds. I have no problem with them but I don't like the way it has been shortened for no apparant reason.

In response to the fact that it has been shortened....so what, you dont even know whats going to happen this year! and its on later...i bet you dont even notice!! Dont worry and just enjoy the fact that it is nearly here!
Btw does it really matter if its only on for 3months and not 5?...3months is longer than probly all the reality shows on tv these days. I think people should quit the b*tchin and look forward to the show!
