Sorry been missing, yesterday afternoon my internet went down and I thought the whole School had, logged on this morning and it was still not working. I rang IT who said it was just me! typical, so i've been waiting for them to fix it, been driving me mad not being able to access the forum, saying that i've actually got a lot of work done. lol.

Caz, what's your job? From the Staff Meeting comment, are you a teacher? If so, what you need to do is design a detailed lesson plan involving the site that's appropriate to your class :-

e.g. 1) media studies - compare and contrast how news is spread/discussed in various media - newspapers, radio, internet forum (using the Shipwrecked forum as a particular example)

2) The effect of man on the natural environment - take 2 sets of islands in the South Pacific. 1 with no human inhabitants (research on your part needed here), 1 with humans (I'm sure you get the drift).

If it's a different job let me know and I'll come up with some other crap, erm I mean a convincing reason why the site is essential to your job.

True. They'd seriously have to do something about the long drop over on Shark Island too. Imagine that view from your window!

No not yet, but im leaving in a couple of weeks back to my old job so I cant wait! Providing I can have my old desk back I will still be able to doss on here all day!!

I'm an administration Assistant but I have got to that stage now where I am loosing interest and I need a new job before I die of boredom, I have been looking but there is nothing around here...

Thats how I feel at this job, I just come in in a morning and go sit in the back office and look busy whilst im really just playing on here all day! I cant wait untill i start at my old job I actually enjoyed it there!!

Thats what I do, I just have some paperwork in front of me and if anybody walks into my office I just play with it

I used to really love my job I worked in the travel industry but the company relocated and I couldnt get there anymore

I'm just going to continue looking and then hopefully my dream job will appear x
