I coping a lot better that I thought I would all considering. Its very cramped at my friends apartment but its far better than being back at mums and having to travel form Notts to Birmingham everyday!

Yeah, the holidays were definatly one of the things that has annoyed me, but I think there were just the icing on the cake!

I think when you live together, go out together and even share the same group of friends there eventually comes a point where you need your own space. Sometimes I just dont feel like my own person anymore. Im an only child and iv always been really independent and enjoyed my own space, so I think its time for us to have abot of a brake.

I really do hope that we both can work at it after all this, and stop taking things (and each other) for granted!

Yum, a curry! Your making me hungry now, I think that might be on teh cards for tea now! What do you normally have?

I know what you mean about 'own space' and time for that matter - I go nuts if I dont get time to engage in my own hobbies and being a bit of a computer bod, I get very wound up if I cant spend a few hours at the weekend or of an evening experimenting with the latest linux release! Sad I know...
but you go to work all day and for the sake of sanity everyone needs their own 'down time'

I havent had a good Curry in ages, 'the management' cant stand them, or garlic (which I could eat for England) so that pretty much means I dont get to eat them. I have to settle for non-stinky food Cool So yes, the prospect of a curry later this week is a very much welcome one. Il probably have a nice chicken balti or perhaps a jalfrezi - although they do a really nice, thick and chunky vindaloo as well - loads of large chunks of chicken, peppers and onions we well as, of course, copious amounts of garlic!!! Big Grin

Ha! I tend the have the same problem, When ever we have have a takeaway we can never seem to agree either. My fella would rather have a chinese where as id much rather have an indian. Id have to agree with your choices too, chicken jalfrezi or chicken rogan josh. With a cheese tomatoe and garlic nan to go with it - Yum yum!

You see I certainly don’t mind a Chinese, although I don’t think you can beat a good curry! There is very little to compete in my mind with a nice garlic balti with plenty of fluffy basmati rice! With that, I think I am going to have to pop down to the work’s canteen at dinner time and see what they have – he sometimes puts a curry on and while it’s not the greatest, its certainly not bad either!

Im not surprised you like them so much anyway, Brum is the curry capital of the UK isn’t it? I know whenever im down that way I’m amazed as to how many good curry houses there are. There are several in Wolverhampton that are most excellent. Mindyou, we’re not short of a decent curry here in sunny Lancashire either!

tis dragging somewhat today I think...although im 'duty officer' which basically means I have to sit here all day and deal with anything that comes in. We all have to take it in turns to be 'D.O.' and its a major drag.

What is it you do again mike? i thought u worked from home!

the waterpark was alright, not as good as i remembered! we arrived at 11am on thursday and went to the waterpark, by 1.30pm we were bored so just got out and luckily got checked in early. there was a watercoaster which was pretty good, but u had to queue for 20 mins to get a ring, then another 10 mins to actually go down it, and it onyl lasted a minute or so. the queue for the flumes was huge so we just left it, and swam about the lazy river. theres a big water treehouse as well u can climb up, and every 3 minutes a ton of water is dumped over everyone on it, great fun! lol!

just back from my lunch break, my gran had washed my trackie bottoms as our washing machine was broken, and she shrunk them! they;re now major ankle swingers! so my mum went into town to get me new ones this morning, and they're so cool! love them! they're pink hehe! il be aerobic barbie!

I think you tend to find that with water parks dont you Footsy, you queue for far too long.
Have either of you been to the water parks at disney land in Florida? They really are out of this world! Once you have been to those, nothing else compares! Cool

Big Grin Areobic Barbie!! I like it!

Thats environmental health Footsy, we could get involved in restaurants but it would be more pricing than anything. Its mainly trading law so things like counterfeiting, trade descriptions, consumer credit, age restricted sales poroduct safety etc. Those kind of things.

We went to Wet & Wild too. I think our hotel was right next door to it. Its brilliant, but the Disney Parks are even better!

Your job sounds a bit like a foreign language to me Mike!

Hullo there! Unfortunately I didnt get my curry last night, im hoping its tomorrow but it depends on my friend getting a babysitter.

Ive just got back from my lunch as well, yes - its absolutely gorgeous here too! I had a Mac donalds for breakfast so thought I needed a healthy lunch so had a bowl of fruit which was ace.

Ive put my car on ebay yesterday so im suffering mixed emotions - had if 4 years and dont really want to part with it but its starting to get expensive and I do too many miles to justify keeping it (need a diesel)

Anyway, what are you upto today?
