I think it's a prank for the new arrivals...in the begining where it shows a few clips there is one of Adam Jumping out of leaves(and not when he done it to sarah) So it's prob one of his pranks ...''run away'' Then when they go back to the camp he is there?
thats exactly what I thought, he is a bit of a cheeky prankster afterall and we haven't seen the clip in the show yet so fingers crossed, I hope he doesn't leave

I know we've not seen Adam's palm leaf prank yet, but i don't remember the clip in the opening titles of Lottie getting thrown into the sea by the sharks ever getting shown either (anyone else remember?), so it's possible Adam may have gone. I'm betting his disappearance is a prank though - well it is Adam!

Didn't they show things in the opening credits last year that were never shown in the main programme? And don't we already know that they are not entirely accurate with the editing and mix the timescale up (eg the lad on hawks appearing with his head shaved and later in the programme he still had his mohican)?
Adam leaves to go to Tigers,although its not a permanent thing. He does a rule break and swims to Tiger island. This is why it says adam makes a break for freedom.
