They got what they deserved. If it was such a big issue, which it obviously was since all three of them complained about it, they should have said something to Sarah. But they all acted as if there was no problem while inside they were seething.
Sometimes you just need to speak up, whether you think it's polite or not.

I think Nick is an interesting charachter.
Although he clearly has good survival skills he is not a natural leader.
He is aware that James and Char are more charismatic and better communicators than him and hence both more leader material. Also he is aware that at this stage in the series all 3 need to be very bonded as a team / unit with no leader because if James or Char were to become a leader he might come into conflict with them because he has the best survival skills. The way he has handled the whole sarah thing demonstrates this. If he was a good leader / manager he would have dealt with her 3 problems: not sure what role she can fill, laziness and greed in a more constructive way instead of just using her a scape goat to bond the rest of group. the way the show is edited, it appears that it is him that is being by far the most negative about her and it is he who makes remarks like "she is not one of us" Yes she is an absolute pain, but as a leader, he should have delegated her to fishing last week, you do not have to be big and strong to fish as more intelligent Riva very quickly noticed! Having said this, it would be interesting if Nick's behaviour would be any different if he used his little brain and realized that the 3rd island are in the competition and if they manage to keep all the "rejects" instead of letting them run home to "Mummy" which Sarah no doubt will soonish, they would "hands down" win the competition. Or maybe he has noticed but reckons they should ostrisize the weakest ones as they don't need to keep everyone. However there have only been 4 arrivals so far ..... Thoughts anyone?

JOJOMARY is obviously a Sarah fan...(i think the only one)
Every one loves the hawks apart from Sarah and are perfectly happy with the way hawk island life is going. I say Sarah go home and let them get on. Nick is just being honest..you don't have to get on with everyone and i think its not about leader skills on the 3rd island and to be honest i think they are all pretty happy just being on their island so why worry about the competition..competition is not important to everyone...
I think you are sarah...also whats all the weird copy and pasting the same post everywhere....!!

the reason why i put the copy in several different places is because numerous people on numerous threads were was saying how wonderful Nick was and thus I wanted as many different people to see the post and give their opinion and thank-you for yours. if you were to watch the last 2 episodes again and listen to what comes out of nick's mouth - and watch his body language you are sure to pick up on numerous elements which demonstrate how insecure he is in the group and how he is vying the others to ostrisize Sarah .
As for being sarah or a sarah fan, if you read my text again, you will see that i have clearly acknowleged that she is lazy, greedy and an abosolute pain.
My point is quite simply that I am disgusted at the bitchy attitude of a 26 year old, who was brought in as an expert thus has more life experience and survival skills, towards a unpractical, unworldly 19 year old. Yes we all know she is a selfish annoying brat, he should simply have the maturity to try and manage her / bring her into the team by helping her find a role e.g. encouraging her to fish and then if he doesn't playing "big brother" / "bad cop - and who knows she might "grow" as a result. If I was him I would definatley have tried the "good cop" "bad cop" big brother (big sister in my case) From what we have seen, he has not tried to encourage her at all instead he just talks behind her back. I can't see what is remotely "good" about that. As for "honest"- you said he was being "honest" about what he thought about her, we haven't actually had any of his suggestion of him being "honest" to her face. What is "honest" about that?

I really don't see why the Hawks (all bar Sarah - she thinks she's a 'Sharkie' anyway, despite the fact they rejected her) owe Sarah anything - why should Nick have to play all the "good cop, bad cop" rubbish? He's their survival expert, at no point do I recall anything about a leader, I think they're working quite well without a designated leader...quite well that is expect of course the odd whining gremlin Sarah. |

Even though he is slim anyway have you noticed how much weight he has lost!!?
I think they should show more of how they survive etc, watching the pig thing and Nick killing the fish was great and so much more interesting!
