Thjat's exactly what I was saying. have you ever seen a more spoilt, ridiculous, self cented woman?

I knew as soon as gordon left it wouldn't work out - she really didn't have a clue. I bet she had that poor girl not only cooking all the dishes but washing up and cleaning the place too! Daddy had a lot to answer for - he's obviously indulged her every whim throughout her life.

"Daddy! I wanna have a restaurant in Paris!"
"Whatever you say, Princess."

Daddy was no better with his cigar, cowboy hat, and back-slapping attitude.

Did you see the look of terror on her face next to India. She knew this was one hardworking, assertive woman that she could never fool. So she closed the restaurant down just to spite her and Gordon. Amazing.

Hurrah! and well said you lot - exactly what I was thinking...

And she was so unashamed about it all. Did anyone else find her attitude a bit "too beautiful to care"? I was getting stressed just watching her = someone kick the prima donna, please.

Was really pleased to see that his honour, Gordon of the Great Thighs, took India under his wing - wonder what she's doing now?

As for the other silly bints - owner and her bezzie - I only hope one or both have got what they deserve ie a reality check.

I'm not a violent person but wanted to poke her eyes out!

Not really - but she was ultra annoying. So selfish.

India was a godsend though.

i think you all have said what i was thinking.
it was somewhere where daddy could just part with some of his money not that he was that bothered or he would have done something sooner or he would have kept the restaraunt open with a proper manager and made some money.

The part that bugged me is the fact that she kept talking about her pregnant cat. You have one of the world's top chefs personally helping you turn your business around and all you care about is your pregnant cat? She was just an ignorant person in my opinion and incredibly self-absorbed.

This Polyanna needs more than a small dose of reality readjustment. She is probably beyond repair, and should probably just be put out of her and the world's misery.

Obviously she has no common sense, much less business sense. This started even before she made the dubious choice of vegetarianism which is not a "cuisine" but rather a psychopathology and, in her case, a cult. Those of you out there who are parents ... when your little precious announces that she is relinquishing her rightful spot at the top of the food chain, don't indulge, be firm and stamp out this nonsense!

Seems like her rationale for opening a vegetarian "restaurant" was more due to a Messianic complex than due to having identified a market niche with unfilled demand.

But even someone with a bent for proselytizing the carnivorous heathen, no matter how misguided, is self-sabotaging by creating a culinary oeuvre that is even less palatable, less sanitary and less enjoyable then what passes for vegetarian "food."

While there is no reason to feel sorry for the failure of a restaurant that I would never frequent, I feel sorry for India. Genuine, hardworking and talented.
