I was really impressed with the new Fanny picked by our Gordon. Shows he really has picked talent there. I hope they will do a show together in the future because I think they are such a good combination and would set the screen on fire like they did briefly in last night's episode. What do you think??

I think although she is obviously a good cook, they set her up last night to be too much like Nigella Lawson, with the camera angles, the smutty anecdotes etc. (Not that I'm against those), I just don't think she suited that. The chocolate souffle did look rather yummy though I have to say.

I think she has done well....I think they need to find a different angle to her presenting as I agree with topcat_28 that it was like Nigella Lawson.

I think to have another section in the show with her in it would be a good idea. Here's to the next show...the sooner the better

I guess the producer was responsible for that, but I think this girl will go far.

But there will never be another Nigella will there?! Wink
I found the camera shots made me feel a bit dizzy, wish they'd concentrated more on what she was making and not her face.

true, there won't be another nigella, but the duo combination of Gordon and Ravinder was good. I think she really stood up in front of him and made him quite flustered....which is a difficult task in itself. I think I saw him blush last night.

I don't think Gordon's wife should leave them in the kitchen alone together!

There seemed to be chemistry between them - poor old Gordon acting like a little boy?

has she done tv before? she looked as if she has done tele work. If she hasn't, I am very impressed by how relaxed and professional she appeared on the programme.

Totally agree arry. the two of them working together would be a recipe for complete success. Ramsay and Ravinder!! catchy programme title eh?

I think she was trying too hard to be like Nigella, but wasn't pulling it off so well. I did think the smutty remarks and swearing was a bit too over the top, attempting to shock? And possibly she has been coached into TV presentation beforehand?

Well I think the fact she was picked out from a huge number of ladies, Gordon has obviously seen talent and wants to nurture that through giving her a bit on the F Word. About her swearing, about time someone stood up to bullyboots GR inn't!!

Hey, sorry to go off topic, but I'd really really like to write to Gordon. Where can I find his fan mail address or something?
