Personally, I think that with Rick Stein And Gordon Ramsay we have two of the finest, no bullshit chefs on the planet..

I admire them both for simple, well cooked food. I do however, enjoy Stein's food more as he is a huge seafood lover.
I wonder what the rest of the forum users would like for Gordon to cook for them?

Mine would be either Sea Bass over Fennel with Asparagus and a sauce of his choice, or non sea food. Venison, served with whatever veg and accompaniments GR would choose...

Any thoughts? or am I alone in my droolings???

*salivates at the mere mention of venison.....*

with regards to seafood though, there is a pretty extensive selection on the menus of all of GR's UK restaurants....if you're a sea bass fan then i suggest you take a look (even if it is, as in my case, merely on the website Big Grin)
....unless of course we can convince gordy to extend his business ventures to the scariest of new territories.....ooop north Razz

only if it's those new branston beans.....much nicer than the regular variety....probably will need you to be on hand to distribute corks to the patrons if that's all 'GR oop north' serves Razz
or perhaps that should be Moon

How can anybody find Ramsey in any way attractive? The man looks worn out and he’s only about 40! I reckon he should lighten up a bit. He’ll give himself an art attack if he’s not careful.
Instead of fussing about and getting angry all the time, I reckon he should sit down, relax and have a Burger King Whopper meal. Life’s too short to get one’s knickers in a twist about whether one’s soufflé hasn’t risen the requisite number of centimetres.
He should take time out, read a book or visit an art gallery or somefink……….

Someone had to say it, so it may as well be me.

Why don't you go to where you may be happy if such place exists and leave the GR forum alone?

What a sad person you must be to be so full of hate and still search out his 'site?

There's programmes I dislike, so I don't visit them and give them any creedence.
Do the same you sorry person.

Grow up and get a life, leave other people alone.

What you posted is both cruel and irrelevant; how dare you want another human being to DIE?

I'm really surprised the mods didn't do their job and show you the way off!

Why not just watch (or not watch) the programme and either enjoy it or turn away! Do you not have a life other than trying to p**s people off?

Hadn't had a look at this thread until today, must have just missed it! I agree with Heleniwater. There is just no room for such comments. Come on mods where are you? Can't you just delete his post?

Ah, Neil Buchanan, the Artful Scouser. I remember him well. Not just in “Art Attack”, but also in No.73 on Saturday mornings on ITV. Far better than Saturday Superstore on the Beeb. Kidz TV aint wot it usta be!

i always fancied trying gordy's venison with chocolate sauce.....
or alternatively this looks pretty good from the a la carte menu at restaurant gordon ramsay-
pan fried fillets of John Dory with Cromer crab, caviar, crushed new potatoes and a basil vinaigrette
....or this at claridges-
fillet of monkfish wrapped in Parma ham, morel risotto, white asparagus, Pinot Noir reduction
who am i trying to kid....the guy could serve me up a pot noodle with angel delight to finish and i'd probably be the most satisfied woman on the planet.....well almost Wink

Gordy can cook me anything as long as he strips off his shirt and tie to put on his tunic thingy just the way he does in the opening titles to 'F Word'. Oh, and all in slo-mo of course. Bliss on a dish!!! Devil (Sorry Mrs Ramsay)
