cooking for some friends, always get confused with the variety of ways you can make calamri rings and fry them ?breadcrums or plain flour, what do you guys prefer??
You have to dip them in seasoned flour first, then dip them in a light batter and fry them in hot oil (has to be hot).
I live in the canaries and I eat them quite a lot, unfortunately not sure if you can get the same sort of batter in the UK. It´s more like a tempura battter (if you know what I mean).
