I'm becoming increasingly about the number of participants in shows of this kind who do not cover their hair. In last weeks F-word Mica Paris, her Mum and her sister all let their hair dangle free. No surprise when Gordon found a hair in a dish at the pass. Why doesn't he insist on headware?

A few years ago i worked in a little chef,I know its not to the standards of a professional kitchen but I was once gave a telling of by an H.A.S.O. for not wearing a hat in the kitchen, and i probably have less hair then ross kemp. I thought that wearing a hair net was common pratice in any kitchen where it be from a greasy spoon or to a top london restraunt.
I would have thought so too. Maybe it's because the C-list celebs feel they have to "look good" but I have to say it doesn't project a very good image. Marco Pierre White wore his bandanna when he started preparing food in his recent programme on British Food.
It's a vile habbit, and I'm pretty sure it's against the law to 'sell' the food that's been prepared by people without protective and hygene standard clothing.
