Just in the process of watching tonight's Kitchen Nightmares and am amazed that food from such a high class French chef is so complicated. Gordon is right - keep it simple, keep it concise and keep it fun. What's your favourite dish and why? And what dish would you like Gordon to cook for you if you had the chance?
I enjoyed last night's show (not least becuase of the incredibly tasty food and Frenchmen) but Ramsay isn't practising what he preaches.
I can't afford to eat in a GR restaurant, but if I did, then I don't imagine for one minute that I would be given a short, simple menu from which to choose simple food.
Ramsay invented the mushroom soup cappuccino for gawds sake.
As for wanting the locals to come in - I wonder how Ramsay would react if the great unwashed of London all turned up in his West End establishment.
