One wonders why GR bothers. The chap at the Secret Garden came across as being in total denial. That may have been down to editing but having read various interviews with the chap it would appear he really is in denial, either that or GR and the production team went out of their way to stitch him up. I found this quote you might enjoy
quote:
So, if things were OK at The Secret Garden, why did the Bardavids agree to participate in a show whose basic premise is that Ramsay swoops in and fixes a so-called “troubled” restaurant in a week or less?
“I wanted to teach Gordon how to cook,” Michel said with a laugh.
This from the chap who thought being voted best chef in the local area was better than gaining 11 Michelin stars, that owning a failing business was superior to owning an international chain of award winning restaurants. Despite saying on camera that he was in debt by some $300,000 he is claiming in the interviews that his business was dong well and not in need of help.
And then he claims Gordon can't cook!?!.
Seems like denial to me.
Oh and looking at the website it appears he's reverted to the old menu.
