It is a beautiful light nutty flavoured oil, can cook with it or sprinkle it on veg and salads - I just dip bread in it -it's great. As far as I know it is only produced in the Anti-Atlas region in southern Morocco from nuts of the Argan tree. I've bought it Morocco, but not seen it on sale here in the UK
type argan oil into google - there is a website called wildwoodgroves that sells argan oil and argan oil beauty products - all made in morocco. 250 mls is £18.50, not sure whether this is expensive or not
Thanks I shall try. That does sound fairly expensive to me, I'll probably wait until I'm next in Morocco - I go most years for sun, warmth, mountains - oh and of course the food!
