the japanese way was worst than the other ones , because the japanese was all about holding it still , not as quick as possible . in my opinion any way .
i watched the whole show . but during the pig part i repeatedly pressed the channel button so it would flash . that way somehow it isnt as hard to watch .
I really think that it came under the heading of ,"too much informatin ." We know it goes on , we like to eat pork ,but I can't bear to watch. My mother used to say , "my eyes are bigger than my stomach," unfortunately they're not. Much as I hate to watch or know about these unpleasantries, it still does'nt stop me eating the end result , and as I live in Spain , and I find the spanish incredibly cruel ( in general.) to ALL animals , I just dread to think of what spanish pigs go through.
Im sorry but HOW LONG DID THAT EELS HEART FREAKING BEAT FOR??? WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT? IS IT ON STEROIDS OR SOMETHING??? I bet it was still beating when Johnathon Ross crapped it out the other end. Sorry but i am VERY diturbed.
I caught a big eel in a river once. It was quite big so I decided to take it home and eat it. Chopped it's head off like you're supposed to do and the thing carried on swimming in the kitchen sink! Tasted beautiful though.
I love eel, and the unagi (Japanese eel) that Jonathan Ross ate looked wonderful. As a side note, cardiac tissue can appear function independently for a few minutes. Nothing out of the ordinary is happening, it's just that the cardiac muscle fibers are still recieving an electrical impulse from a part of the heart that dictates it to beat. Once the impetus to beat has gone (died), the rest of the heart is still.
