This was exactly the same blasted programme as in the previous series. The first two in this new series were just that... NEW. This was either a mistake (usual low-grade couldn't care less C4 employee on a yoof opportunity scheme)or a con. Which?
I have to agree, I felt completely conned last night. This was a poor excuse for a programme, 99.9% of it was a total rehash, as fans of the programme it would have been very unlikely that we had not seen it in it's original form so a quick re-cap was all it would have needed, 5-10 mins at most. Perhaps they think that we must have such poor memories and such a low attention span that we needed it. TBH I think if they are going to do a revisted programme it should only be an update on all of the programmes from the previous series. This is supposed to be a "New" series, come on programmers it should be exactly what it says on the tin, new.

I could never bring myself to dislike the restaurant owner - he was obviously struggling physically and emotionally, and still is - so I almost found it a bit cruel for the show to go back. It was if they said - "let's go see what he's fussing over, how many plates he's hoarding, how he's dressed", etc.
OK You have to read this daft response to a complaint I mae to C4 about the "revisit" last night:
<<Thank you for contacting Channel 4 Viewer Enquiries regarding the "revisit" episode of RAMSAY'S KITCHEN NIGHTMARES.
We are sorry to read that last night's episode was not what you were expecting. The show in question was listed as a revisit show. This allows viewers to catch up with the experiences after the initial investments or renovations - which is why this has proven a popular format across many of our shows.
As such it is listed as a new episode, as while the participants are the same, the circumstances surrounding their presentation are not.
Nevertheless, please be assured your complaint has been noted and logged. The log is distributed throughout Channel 4.>>
To which I responded:
<<As usual that is not an answer. Whilst I understand the "revisit" format well last night's "episode" was 95% old programme and a tag end of comment as a "revisit". Shabby. Typical Channel 4 I am afraid.>>
They did exactly the same with the last series of Property Ladder. I'm just waiting now this series is 2 progs in to see if they are about to do the same........
I switched to ITV last night when I realised it was a revisit as I suspected it would be basically the whole programme repeated with a bit of verbal missed out then 10 mins tagged on the end of new stuff.
C'mon - there's E4 and More4 that you could quite easily broadcast that sort of programme on, not on the main C4 at prime time.

i was totally disapointed with this episode i had seen it the first time around and to have to sit there and watch it all over again... and just a tiny segment of the new episode at the end. a new series should mean new programes not repeats.
