Watched some of "Live Birth" the other night( or was it the Quads thing?) Anyway the obstetrician, who was a man said that women were genetically stronger with a higher pain threshold than men and this is a scientifically proven fact. We would have to be, after all we have to deal with men everyday. If God is a man then being omnipotent we can't argue with the choice he made in making women the stronger sex can we!

Actually I think you will find it's the women are weak, not only do men have more physical strength than women, they don't feel the need to throw tantrums when they are not allowed to buy stuff with the money the men go out and earn.
Sorry Road Trip but I personally don't now and never have thrown a tantrum for not being "allowed" to spend my husband's hard earned, nor has he thrown a tantrum for not being "allowed" to spend my hard earned. We are a partnership, at times I have earned more money than him and at others he has earned the lion's share. He has never had to stay at home to raise our children though I am sure if it had come to it he would have done. I looked at the date on my computer and it said that this is 2006. Things have changed somewhat over the years. If you are not happy with your lot or feel aggrieved that someone is spending your hard earned then change it. Both my husband and I are happy with ours and I guess that many other women and men are equally happy. It is a shame that from your post it seems you have not had the same experience.

PS. It was a man who first brought this topic to the forum. Most of us don't think we have a raw deal. Perhaps you feel you are getting a raw deal which as I said in my previous post is a shame but it is up to you to change it.

I think society would function far better if women stopped getting ideas above their station and simply decided to stay at home instead. The requirements of tests you need to pass to get into the Police etc. have been lowered in order that women would be able to pass them... ohh and look; crime is incresing; is this a connected I see before me!
misogyny, misogyny, they all have it misogyny! Perhaps if women did stop "getting ideas above their station" society would cease to progress. Or if it were left to some, and I mean some men it would cease to exist. Over 90% of all crime, violent or otherwise is perpetrated by the male species. (if it were not then the ratio of male to female prisoners would then intimate that they aren't very good at it anyway)I believe that society is the inclusion of all species male and female, if females "simply" decide to stay at home then they are taking the "simple" option are they? Some of the males who have posted on this forum think that women should go out to work to earn our own money instead of squandering their hard earned. What exactly do you men want? Perhaps you may find "some simple little woman who wants to be dominated by you, who has no interest in the outside world, no ideas above her station, who just wants to make babies and put your tea on the table, who won't spend your hard earned on things to make herself look good for herself, it would have to be for you, god forbid that she might have the brains to pass a test, but men who are of this opinion wouldn't pick one with brains. I wish you all luck in finding this rare creature as I am convinced like the Unicorn she is a thing of legend and myth. As for the police tests being made simpler, it is more likely due to the poor educational standard applicable nationwide these days, that is for all sexes. My grammar and spelling may not be the best but it certainly is of a higher standard than that of the majority of the teenagers I come across these days. That is down to education not gender. I do hope that Wobbletastic is playing devil's advocate to whip up dialogue. Sorry for the long post just needed to clarify a couple of things. I won't be drawn however into further comment even though I will view with interest any posts. I did think this forum was about the f word and Gordon Ramsey rather than sexist opinions which I am sure have a forum of their own.

Ohh and when I mentioned the Police tests I was talking about physical ones that have been made less demanding to allow women through more easily. So what do we say to criminals: "please don't run away as fast"?
