An amazing experience his fine dinig in Nyc. The food was fantastic the attention to detail and the flavours. The service was the best ive ever received even from restaurants twice the price. A tour of the kitchen after dinner toped the nite off. Jean Baptiste and his team certainly know how to make every thing perfect.
Sorry was in a rush when i was typing it. His fine dining restaurant at The London Hotel in New York. The food wasnt that expensive but it was relative to New york prices. About half the price it is in London i suppose, but i would pay double to go again it was amazing. The drinks in the bar after were steep but then hotels tend to be, but then again measures were trebble ours.
Its such good news that Gordons restaurant in New York the London has won 2 michelin stars in its first year. The american critics were a bit harsh when it first opened but it just shows you. Dont believe every thing you read !

I also must recommend a visit to the fine dining restaurant at The London. Its exquisite, and the food was everything I expected. Apart from that funny cup of beefy stuff !!!
I was there with my wife, on my 40th birthday, and Gordon was in attendance. He gave me a signed copy of Humble Pie, and personally piped a dessert for me.. Both Gordon and Jean Baptiste gave us a tour of the kitchens, which are huge, and made us feel very welcome.
Its a story Im going to dine out on for life..
Im going back there in April, so a return to The London is certainly on the cards..
Yea i just got back from nyc myself and returned to the London it was even better the second time round the venison was to die for. Sadly JB was not there this time When was it you went ? Make sure you book well in advance i made my reservation early November for Feb its extremly busy now with locals !
