I am trying to do the quiz on the fword page and both yesterday and today it freezes once i get the 2nd question and keeps putting me back to question 2 when i press next questions.
Is anyone else having this problem or does anyone know what i should do?

Yep I tried to do it the other day and it kept freezing on me too.

same here its so annoying!!

Not quite as annoying as last year when I got to about 200 and it threw me out!!! Still I cannot complain as I eventually did win the weekly prize of a book. Just keep on trying and good luck.

Earlier today I managed to get 1025 points then the site crashed on me and I have just tried again and got up to 700 and its done it again. For me to get as high as the leader it will take about 6 hrs of it not crashing. Is it possible?

I dare not tell you how long it took me to win the Sunday Lunch book from last series!!! Here is a hint....My husband used to work 12 hr shifts, I started before he left and did not finish until after he arrived home, my son did the honours and served me with tea and sandwiches during the day and I only left my pc to p, c.

Well, I have 2 weeks before I have my baby so hopefully I have a little time yet, because once she comes I certainly won't get the time....lol....

have you tried to clear all your temp files and cookies? on your internet page go into tools, then internet options and clear cookies and files.. reboot ur pc nd try again.. that usually helps

What you are doing is cheating, ther is NO way you can gain those amount of points with 3 lifes, 1 point a question....saddos.

P&M it is so sad that you think that just because somebody has the staying power and knowledge to answer questions correctly and remember them when the come up again that they are cheating. It is a bit like a children's card game where you just have to match 2 (question to correct answer) all you have to do is use your memory it really isn't rocket science. Try again and again until you remember the answers and you will achieve your ultimate goal if you have the staying power and the will to win. That is not cheating that is working for something that you want.

I do not apologise BTW for being a "saddo" after all I got the prize and I use it regularly.

Poor P&M can't answer the questions.

I can remember the SAME questions if they come up again and again, if you get them wrong, it does show that you must have limited knowledge if you have to try that many times?
It would be interesting if you were only allowed one go per quiz

if it took LDK over 12hours to win a cook book, it makes my head hurt to think how long it would take to win a significantly bigger prize....perhaps they should put some sort of legal disclaimer before commencing the quiz to warn of the pitfalls of quizzing ie: the addictive nature of it, the frustration of the bloody thing crashing and losing your score and the violent episodes of 'quiz rage' caused as a consequence, as well as the health implications such as RSI and DVT..... we do live in a nanny state and compensation culture after all

If that's what they want to do, leave them alone to do it!

Hiya Mrs Diddy, hiya everybody I actually thought this one might have died a death but perhaps I was wrong and the P&M does have pesistance Maybe we should just not feed the trolls. I mentioned somewhere that my brother is doing the "retro" menu from Gordon's Sunday Lunch book, (You know, the one I won in the quiz) Well tonight is the night so I will let you know how it went. I have to say that I have used the book well, the only problem I have encountered with any of the recipes is the one for rhubarb brulee but I altered timings given and all is fine. If you like desserts you could try the chocolate coffee mousses in this book but don't do it in cappuccino cups do it in esspresso cups as it is very very rich.

perhaps if people spent as much time on the quiz as they did moaning about it, then they'd be on their way to norway....just a thought
