Excellent show tonight, lucky the manager kept his job, got a second chance. Looooved Gordon's reaction when he started crying at the end and Gordon still gave him a hug. wicked.
and.... who is the guy doing the commentry with the luverleeeeeeeee Scottish voice, still trying to make out his dialect and where he comes from. I am from the Scottish Highlands, where does he come from.? Thumbs Up

I just love the Kitchen Nightmare format, and GRrrrr, just makes the show work.

I was a little bemused by the segway editing halfway through, to throw drama into the ep. Making out that Mike's hissy fit was in front of the punters. This was obviously not the case and done for entertainment purposes solely.

I did wonder if Mike had more in this restaurant than just being Manager. He seemed to know who GRrrr was by reputation. But Billy the 'Chef' seemed none the wiser.
Maybe Mike was the one who suggested entering the restaurant in. Not realising he might be the casualty.

I wonder how they are doing now....????

I totally agree! I mean, did the editors really think the way it was cut would make ANYONE believe it happened at the same time the customers were in! Seriously, it was so obvious.

That guy was annoying though, he was being so overly dramatic about everything, like when he started crying over the redecorating...! I do find the people in the USA version are always really over the top, but im not complaining as it is quite entertaining!

Tonights episode the guy who had a waitress since 1967, and the absolutely disgusting filthy kitchen and Chef and sous chef, but, again Gordon win's through and they are sacked on the spot. Loved the turn around and the red tablesclothes and what was done to the restaurant, but, 5 months later mother and son sell-up. Well, if Gordon had not changed things around they would never have sold it with the disgusting state it was in when Gordon arrived.
How the hell Gordon survives some of these challenges is amazing. Clapping
