Are we going to follow Gordens advice and start munching on squirrels? Never know they may taste good.

not sure I'll catch one and stick it in my frying pan, but if i ever see it on a menu in a restaurant I would like to try it some time, people seem to be really enjoying it on the show.

Have your frying pan sizzling hot, then just chase him/her, (the squirrel that is)in to the kitchen. Then you just toss it straight in fur and all,mmmmmmmmmm, crispy fur...licks lips. Wink

I'm pretty sure I've seen Hugh F-W cook squirrel, I think it was on his 'Cook on the Wild Side' programme. He said some restaurants sell it as 'tree rabbit', I can't imagine there being a lot of meat on one though!

We don't get squirrels in the garden here.. yet.. go to my mother-in-laws in West London.. and theres loads of the bladdy things...

As much as I've had a good laugh at some of the posts here, I couldn't actually eat squirrel. Oh, by the way, what does it taste like?????????
and don't come up with the old 'chestnut'it tastes like squirrel. Big Grin

Best way to catch a squirrel: with an air rifle.

Never tried it myself, none around where I live (farmland), but the more greys we get rid of the better. Horrible critturs, but no excuse not to give them a humane end...

Bring back the Red!
