Excellent, that was a pretty good show! And the resteraunts always became much better then they were!
People like you find it easy, Naked to see, Walking on air. Hunting by the rivers, Through the streets, Every corner abandoned too soon, Set down with due care. Don't walk away in silence, Don't walk away.
Great show too. At first the guys (forgotten his name) was a rubbish and lousy cook. Always using canned foods and passing them off as genuine Italian food. He foolishly bought the £46k BMW M3 why? I was amazed at the way he changed during the following 6 weeks. He got out of debt, kept the M3 and became a real chef. This goes to show a little Gordon Ramsey foul mouthed treatment goes a long way in making you a good and responsible chef.
My family and I were in a fish and chip shop/restaurant in Blackpool late last summer when Gordon Ramsay was filming something there. I hope its one of the places included in this series.
I don't think he should of made that vegtarian guy eat that pizza though, that was awful!!!

It was reported a while ago that ITV2 have bought the rights to show it later on in the year...i think it is going to be pretty much how they imported American Idol because of the fact that the shows were made for ITV before the Americans got them so therefore they own the copyright of the show anyway....so yeh hopefully!
i've seen Hell's Kitchen - we get American TV here in Canada. . . but there was no vegetarian, or Italian chef etc. . . I'm wondering if there is more than 1 version of Hell's Kitchen? -- 1 in the U.K. and 1 in the U.S.? The Hell's Kitchen i've seen was located in California - with all American participants.

Gordon did a series in the UK with various z-list clebrities. They apparently complained all the time at the amount of work. As they were being paid upto £100,000 Gordon was decidedly non plussed and vowed never to make another UK version. So the following year he successfully sells the format Stateside and turns the whole process into a competition.
There have also been a couple of series were he is invited in for a week to rescue failing restaurants.
okay, thanx for clearing that up! I don't know which i like better, Hell's Kitchen or Kitchen Nightmares?! I just saw a show here in Canada called "Kitchen Crimes". . where they had a food inspector and a designer come in to diagnose the 'crimes'. . bugs, bacteria, etc. and then solve the problems and redesign the space. It was good. . nowhere near as good As Gordon's Kitchen Nightmares though. . There's another Canadian show called "Restaurant Makeover" in which a team comes in, asks the owners to hand over $15,000 and the team kicks in the equal amount and the whole place is gutted and redone. . pretty good! they have a chef who works with the restaurant's chef. . they have a designer and a work crew. . I STILL like Gordon better!! I pretty much love any food/kitchen/cooking/baking show!!!
