This is my very first Channel 4 forum posting.

I can't believe that Gordon Ramsay can eat some of the stuff he does eat, but he felt it difficult to stomach drinking Breast Milk in cappuccino in tonight's The F Word. I mean he ate a Bull's Cock the other week! Surely Breast Milk is more natural for us humans than Cow's Milk! Don't you think?... Roll Eyes

Also, what happened to his Johnstone accent?...

Hold on a minute... have a think of where cow's milk comes from... Where would you rather the milk you drink comes from?

Yes, and all I am trying to say is I'd much rather have my lips around a woman's nipple that a cow's! We are only sqeamish about things we are not used to. Imagine what was going though the mind of the first person who saw cow's milk coming out of those udders and thought: "Hmmm... I'd like some of that on my Cornflakes!"... Eek

Yes, well whatever he had and wanted to put that cow's milk into. I was trying to make a point by using a form of analogy. You get my point though eh? I haven't ever tasted breast milk in my adult life... as far as I remember. Weren't you ever breast fed as a baby?

WTF?... Isn't cow's milk naturally meant for baby cow's? That doesn't stop us from taking it for ourselves.

Being a woman that breast fed my daughter for 15 months I actually think that drinking breast milk should be intoduced to adults! Especially recovering from an illness!!!! HOWEVER

the thought of being trussed up like a cow and having my mammaries treated like cows udders brings tears to my eyes!! ha ha.

My husband tried it once and said it was the sweetest thing he had ever tried and that is coming from a chocoholic!

Another thought has entered my head!(that means trouble!) if breast milk was introduced to an adult diet would it mean grazing in a field?? Oh what a view.

I shall stop now as too much is going on in my head for this time of the morning!!

Hehehe... I find it bizarre that people have no problem in drinking the lactal secretions of cows, goats and sheep (among other animals) but get all squemish when it comes to drinking human milk, which is speficially "designed" for human beings.

Although, saying that - I can't think of another "lactal" species which continues to consume milk after weaning.

I found this bit quite irresponsible......ok if you know the woman personally where the breast milk came from ( say your wife for example) but AIDS can be passed on through breast milk and we have quite a high number of females in this country that give birth who are carrying the virus.....stick to cows milk Wink

LizeeeH I do presume this seriousness of your response is down to the fact that you actually think that this would actually happen.

Pray tell can you not see the funny side of this!!!

IF and it would be a BIG IF this was deemed a light bulb of an idea, breast milk would be screened like any other milk.......

Just relax and let your inner self see the humour!

I agree with LizeeeH, my wife is a GP and did not see the humourous side to this at all. she has patients that are HIV positive, some pregnant.Im sure Gordons breast milk was screened thouroughly, in the real world of course this doesn't happen.

I am assumimg WTF is some sort of an abbreviated swear word? If it is then it is a poor way to get your argument across.

Anyway - back to human breast milk. Oh and by the way Baby cows are called calves and I think you need to do some research on the milking processes.

So in your view we drink cows milk which is meant for calves and yet shouldn't be surprised that some individual wants to make a cappucino or latte out of breat milk.

Whatever next, human steaks maybe. After all we do eat cows don't we. Disappointed

oh my god this has gone far, far, too far now.

do you think because gordon had a breast milk cappuccino that there are going to be people diving at any woman possibly lactating and taking their milk for a latte?
get a grip ffs. i am sure that if, IF, anyone else decides to try it, they will only gain their crop from a loved one.
think about it please? its pathetic.

it was called a HUMOUROUS section.

there is no need to throw personal abuse around, especially picking on things that we actually demonstrate ourselves.
