just read that suranne jones (karen from corrie) will be the 4th series of shameless, dont have any more info,sorry.

I really hope that this is true as I love Surrane Jones and Love Shameless.
maybe she will be the new neighbour.

I can't remember where i read it but apparently this isn't true and therefore she won't be in it.

I also read on Mirror.co.uk that Martin Compston had been cast as Ian's new boyfriend, but the article has disappeared so i'm thinking they got their info wrong, not sure though. Shame, that would've been exciting.

suranne and dean were in a drama together monday night so i reckon thats were the shameless conection came from dont think she is
in series 4
