Cheers to C4 for putting one of my favourite films into my favourite tv programme in last nights's preview episode.

Loved it! Especially Frank and his lady with Rach's piano concerto No.2 playing in the background & Mimi taking the part of gossipy Dolly Messiter who spoils the couple's painful last moments together on the bus.

And yes, at the end when Monica says to Frank "you've been a long way away but thanks for coming back to me" - excellent!

Welcome mo22 by the way. The writing just keeps getting better and better don't you think? I'm not sure how they do it. All credit to the writers though. They do a superb job.

I've just watched the bus scene with Mimi again. Are you sure it was Rachmaninov's second piano concerto? It just sounded like the normal Shameless theme tune to me.
