Or better Jamie could have moved in with the new policewoman (who is just agressive not funny so far) Norma could move in with Jess and become the loacl councillor etc... All we have is a Carol sleeping around, Marty with his Tourettes and Frank with his one liners left to make us laugh...

Maybe the Chatsworth estate has given us all it can and like other programmes has just got tired. Sheila was the only one who made me laugh in the first 4 episodes, if Paul Abbott reads this please Paul look at the difference bewteen the earlier series and the present, it would be sad to see a truly good programme like this pulled for lack of humour.

i agree with with all you say here we have lost far to many of the decent parts and I;m old enough to remember a brilliant sit com called Bread LIKE SHAMELESS I NEVER MISSED THIS. then actors started leaving. They tried replacing these actors with look alikes and sadley the end result was they destroyed a brillent sit com and turned it into a sad soap. I would rather this be the last shameless than have to watch this happen again Roll Eyes

It's completely ridiculous to think you could use look a likes to take over and play established characters though, so it's no suprise that programme was destroyed. I highly doubt the producers of Shameless would ever do something like that, so fear not.

the series is not as gd but it's still funny, i like the new character like jamie and co but am i the only one that thinks it's turning in the mcgurie show?

its not turning into the maguire show. its always been about the gallagher family so far, as its always a member of the family who talks over the start and end of the show. Its centred around the gallaghers.

I think it is still BRILLIANT and series four is better than series 3, IMHO!!

I think you've made a very good point here.

Following on from the first two series, Series 3 initially came in for a lot of criticism. As it progressed, it did improve, giving us some really excellent episodes. Perhaps we should not be too harsh on this series until we've seen more of it.
